Had fish and chips at Captain George's yesterday for Good Friday and have to say it was outstanding fish was really good and not greasy and portions were huge my one plate feed two!!! Evening was great however the “large plates” are not so large in food quantity. You see a large plate but the food is tiny. You cannot share these plates. We went for lunch once and their food plates had more food.

Went in with some co-workers for lunch and the service was fast & the food tasted great!
Our waitress was very polite and attentive even with a full restaurant and all of our orders were made right!
We found the prices to be quite good as the portions were large and fresh.
Has an old school diner feel, could use some updating, but it was very clean inside.
Definitely going back soon :)

I have visited many Chinese style restaurants in Oshawa and Whitby and I have to say that I was not expecting this degree of quality and freshness from a fast food place. I would have never ordered from here because I always like to take a look at the menu before I get delivery (which I could not find online) but because of location I decided to give it a try, I mean it's only $30-40 after taxes for their specials so no big deal. When I got my first delivery I was shocked of how much food their was and how tasty it was. Not too greasy, spiced and prepped perfectly, warm, timely, and friendly service. For the price, and for how good the food is, I have no idea what these other reviews are talking about, it's most likely the competition.
