When you go to Chaps you have to get the wings!!!! They are the best but you have to get the saucy ones with hot sauce. My family will go every birthday or special occasion because we love it and I have been going to Chaps since I was about 4 years old I am 21 now. Chelsea is a laid back restaurant with lots of charm and excellent food. We have been coming here for lunch for years and are always made welcome by the friendly host and are never disappointed. The grilled trout is particularly tasty as is the chicken mandarin salad favoured by my wife. During cold weather we love the home made carrot and ginger and potato leek soups followed by the tasty liver and onions or the hearty steak and kidney pie. There are a large variety of dishes and all of the items arrived to our table piping hot. The service was quite fast and friendly. I wouldn’t describe the food as outstanding, just good. I was hoping that the dishes would have been more authentic Chinese. The Sichuan chicken with mixed vegetables was not spicy at all, a total disappointment. Being Sichuan, I was hoping for a spicy, hot dish. It was pretty bland. When I mentioned this to the hostess, she said that we could have ordered it spicy. I have lived in Dundas, Ontario for most of my life and have visited the Collins Brewhouse many times. I use the term ‘visited’ as if I am visiting someone’s home for the simple reason, each and every member of the Collins Brewhouse staff welcomes visitors’ as if they are family. It is a quaint pub and restaurant that adds more charm to the town of Dundas. The service is just as incredible as the food they serve. The southwest chicken wrap and chicken wings are super, I would without a doubt recommend these two dishes. Also, I have attended staff parties in the basement of the Collins Brewhouse. The accommodations that they provide such as; pool tables, a personal served bar, a big screen television, and food served in a buffet self-serve format, provide customers with fun and entertaining memories. As you can see in my review for the Collins Brewhouse, I would most definitely recommend this restaurant to all age groups. If you like good company, good food and a great atmosphere this is the restaurant to check out! Lire plus
