Quaint little cafe with old-world-charm leaded glass windows that open to the street in summer. I have been there many times, always getting one of their breakfast meals. The service has always been quick and polite. The owner/manager was always on site and seems to take pride in good service. The place is usually pretty busy, but has a quick turn around time, so there isn't usually a wait more than a minute or two. As soon as your coffee cup starts to empty, the waitress or busser is over to fill it right back up (if you desire). It is a good old fashioned diner/greasy spoon that is great to sit back and have conversation with friends, and also great prices. Bonus, it is located close to Riverdale farms (TO's 1st zoo) which is great place (free) for kids to see animals, and near riverdale park for a game of baseball, tennis, ultimate or walking the dog. The meal is always done how you like it, and price includes coffee/tea and a small cup of OJ. Not bad at all ;) One of the most economical places to have a full meal, and unlike Yorkville restos I have never been dissatisfied with the food nor the service. The one thing they could improve on is offering more hot water for tea drinkers...we enjoy refills too!

SImple review here: Good burgers and good souvlaki. Fries were great and the deserts were surprisingly good. A small place where the owner takes his time (not too long) and the food is good. I'll eat here again.

I had an amazing time at this Diner. My friend recommended it to me. My friends and I went to the diner on the weekend it was a little packed but that was fine. The waitress showed us to a sit in the corner with a great big smile on her face and asking us how are day has been so far. It was my first time there so I asked the waitress what was one of her favorite things to eat here, she said the open faced hot turkey and the California scramble. So at her recommendations i picked the California scramble. It’s a toasted muffin with scrambled eggs with green peppers and tomatoes mixed into it with a little bit of hollandaise sauce and feta sprinkled onto it with home fries on the side. And not even 7 minutes later our food is all ready coming out to us; I couldn’t believe it came out so fast. It looked and tasted great.

My son very unfortunately had an accident where he broke his adult tooth in half. I called the office at 5:30 p.m. and got an appointment for the very next morning at 8:40 a.m. Dr. Bedi (and the entire staff) where so incredible in dealing with my son (10) and myself (who was a wreck). He fixed the tooth in record time, barely noticeable that it even happened. He made a really terrible experience so much better for my family. Can't say enough good things about his bedside manner. Great service! Arrived home from work in the evening only to find our tank was full or blocked. I called LJ's and even though he was already home for the day, he got in his truck and was at my house in about a half hour. Tank was pumped, and the blockage removed in quick time. Great guy! highly recommend!

My sister and I tried fame since our normal stylist was on May leave. I am soooooo glad we did from the moment we walked in everyone was extremely friendly.
