I highly recommend Avanti Appliance Repair & Refrigeration in terms of efficiency and pricing. I was in a situation where three of my appliances weren't working properly. A technician arrived Sunday morning, diagnosed the problems and quoted me a price for each appliance. Two appliances were fixed and are working flawlessly. The third one needs a control board that has to be special ordered. I was sent a text with the exact cost of the part and expected labour Sunday evening. Very good service!

Consistently very helpful and I have always had excellent service. Have never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a prescription to be filled especially great after a visit to Emergency or after surgery at nearby Nanaimo hospital when you are not up to par. Chairs, coffee and cookies are available. Compounding services are offered. Prescriptions costs seem to be comparable to the least expensive and largest pharmacies in Nananimo.

My septic system was down in the middle of winter. I called Lisa at their dispatch. She had 2 people to my house within 2 hours on short notice. They showed up and had it fixed in 30 minutes. My daughter and I were referred to Dr. Marguiius by a friend of my daughter. We were looking for a dentist and had tried a few but were not happy. One dentist told my daughter it would cost almost $6000.00 to treat her teeth. We saw Dr. Margulius and he found only two small cavities and was able to treat her for much less than what the other dentist quoted. He is professional and gentle and I would highly recommend him.

I've been buy my glasses from them since 2003. I know the original owner as I sold computers to him. The current owner is Wayne and he is very knowledgeable about eye wear. They sell both regular glasses as well as contact lens. They don't rush me and explains clearly to me the options I've and the advantage/disadvantage of each choice. I live in Vancouver and tried the optician near me. It constantly broke, they gave me a refund and I went back to Wayne. I learn my mistake and switched back.

I met Dr. D. in 1990 for a very difficult, corrective rhinoplasty. He had to graft cartilage from my ears to support the nose. It turned out fantastic. He has done other cosmetic procedures for me over the years and all have had excellent results. He is extremely knowledgable about all the latest procedures. He will never do any operation if I do not need it. Whether it is a featherlift, mini-lift or laser treatments his advice and skill is always at the optimum. I have gone to other surgeons only to be dissapointed. Because of his thorough knowledge and his excellent skills I am 54 years old and I pass easily for a fresh, natural looking 42 year old. I would never consider using a different surgeon.
