I came in looking to buy a violin, and Rino showed me around and let me play everything in the shop, even instruments wildly out of my price range, just for the experience. As an advanced student, just a few weeks of practicing on this instrument has completely transformed my playing, and I deeply regret the literal years I wasted being held back by a poor instrument.
Rino is the most prestigious luthier in Vancouver and he actually knows what he's doing. Highly recommended.

I have been going here for years, in fact, before it opened as I have been using Manuel for maybe 15+ years. Except for the only one time when I went too short I have left with always great hair. I do not need to look at the back to make sure he did a good job. I have always had compliments about my haircuts. There was a recent wind storm that caused major damage to our property from a fallen tree. We called Royal Wood Tree for an estimate, and they showed up immediately to give us one. Having said that, their price was excellent for the job they had to take on. Their crew showed up on time and were very professional. They removed the hazardous tree in no time and left no mess. I would definitely recommend this company more than any other!
