This little treasure in Streetsville offers excellent Italian food at very reasonable prices. We have been there many times, and the food is consistently delicious.The service at times can be a bit slow, however the meals well worth the wait. We have also called in orders for pick up, and the food is yummy whether you eat in or take out. I delivered menu's to neighbours and friends when the restaurant first opened up as we feel it is the best Italian restaurant in Streetsville, and if it were located a bit down the street, folks would notice it more and likely drop in, well worth the visit. I had been to this location of Jack Astor's in the past, but I haven't been in a while. I was thoroughly impressed with this place! We decided to sit outside since it was a nice day. Our server came out right away and gave us our menus. She was kind and helpful when we were making our meal selections. I chose the honey garlic chicken fingers with sweet potato fries. They were very delicious! The chicken fingers came with two types of dips, and the sweet potato fries came in a small dish which was very convenient. The first time I went here I was quite disappointed with my dinner. It lacked flavour and the parts that did have flavour were far too spicy. After waiting several months I ordered take out with my friend last week and was pleasantly surprised. This time the food had much more flavour and the spices were at just the right level so that they enhanced the flavours rather than obscure them. I will definitely go back from now on. Lire plus

This place is amazing. It's been around a long time. We've been coming here for over 7 years. I never revew on yp but I am writing this because I looked them up and saw that they needed a little love on here. My entire family loves it. It's our go-to Indian restaurant in Mississauga. I read many reviews from many places and decided I didn't want to visit this place, after bumping into a friend who had RAVE reviews I decided to give it a shot and dam I am GLAD! The eating area decor is old and not meant to impress, but many reviews said it was dirty I did NOT find that it is a truck stop. I read there are rude waitresses, well there isn't any waitresses at all so that issue was void. You order your food and wait for your number to be called is how the purchase process works. What you get is a GREAT tasting steak for a crazy value, 12oz your choice of 3 cuts NY, Tbone, or rib eye AND fries for $11.99, OR feeling more hungry 16oz same cut choices for $12.99 but no sides. I went there the first time one week ago and have been there 4 times my orders have been the 12oz special with fries and 16oz without fries all times were great. SO you love steak but can't afford the crazy prices and don't care about decor this place can't disappoint, great steak and portions for budget pricing. Lire plus

I had a dream about eating at this place last night, so I thought that I'd write a review! I've eaten at this place a handful of times and I've never had a bad experience...ever. I would go more often, but it's very out-of-the-way for me. I usually get the chicken burrito and free chips+homemade salsa are included. The meat is fresh and not dry like other places! Salsa is definitely not Old El Paso. Aside from the homemade and freshness of the food, what sets it apart is the non-chain decor and the friendliness of the staff. The atmosphere at El Sombrero really makes you feel as though you're somewhere else - as opposed to a strip mall in Mississauga. :) Again, I wish that they're open up a location south, closer to me, an actual sit-down restaurant with servers, and an extended menu will probably succeed as well since there aren't any Mexican restaurants nearby! We had our community Diwali event this past weekend on Nov 4th at Bombay Palace Banquet Hall Brampton. The hall size and shape is perfect for any event. Beautifully decorated and very well organized. The food was delicious, the housekeeping staff as well as the manager was very humble and easily approachable. They took note of all our requirements and made sure they do a good job. This is a hidden gem over near the airport on Matheson. A friend of mine works in the area and he suggested it for a Saturday night dinner. We had a great time as the food was hot, fresh, and tasted great, plus the service was very professional. I like places where they have a pride of ownership and this is one where the owners are active in the business, the chef came from the kitchen to check on our meal, and they genuinely appreciated our business. My husband and I discovered Dai Ichi several years ago almost by accident on New Year's Eve when the Mandarin was overcrowded and behind on their reservations. I have always been grateful to Mandarin for their ineptitude. Dai Ichi is a small, out of the way place, tucked into a nondescript strip mall near a Longo's and Shopper's Drug Mart, but it is definitely one of the best sushi places in the area. We had chef's special sushi and sashimi plate, caterpillar roll, bibimbab. Everything was fresh, nicely presented. I had thick and fresh cuts of tuna, yellow tail, unagi, and even ikura sushi in the sushi plate, it was a nice selection of nigiri sushi. Caterpillar roll was bigger than I thought, and it came with miso soup and salad. One of my Japanese friend ordered bibimbab, and I didn't know it is served in the heated stone pot, it was very unique. The pot was still hot until we finish our meal! We spend around $60 for 3, considering it was dinner time, I guess it's reasonable price. Also we were seated in Tatami room which was very nice. It seems great for small party around 6 people. Chelsea is a laid back restaurant with lots of charm and excellent food. We have been coming here for lunch for years and are always made welcome by the friendly host and are never disappointed. The grilled trout is particularly tasty as is the chicken mandarin salad favoured by my wife. During cold weather we love the home made carrot and ginger and potato leek soups followed by the tasty liver and onions or the hearty steak and kidney pie. My family has been coming to Enzos for over 25 years. It is a great place for Italian food. The owners are very down to earth people, that go out of there way, to make sure everything is good. The staff is very friendly, and accomodating. We brought our kids there, from toddlers, They are now both grown up, and continue to eat at Enzos. I have tried almost everything on the menu. Never disappointed. The pasta sauces are excellent. Pizza's taste great. Lasagna, shrimp and scallop fettucine, chicken, veal dishes are all awesome. Took my family here for mother's day and it was very busy! We walked in and wrote gave our names and got a table within 5 minutes. After trying the food I can tell why there were so many customers, the food is mouth-watering! Definitely the best Indian food in the GTA. Won't be going to bras or tandoori flame again. I could tell they were hustling to work as quickly as possible, which can be appreciated in such a busy time. Very clean place, elegant decor. Will be coming back again next week! Lire plus

My husband,and I came upon this restaurant last year. We have lived here for 30 married years, and never new it existed. We received a coupon in the mail, and gave it a try. So happy we did! The atmosphere is homey, and every waitress we have had is happy, and always smiling, and checks on you, to make sure eeverything is ok. The food is tasty, and not greasy.
