I first visited Allen's back in the 80's, not long after it opened, and I was instantly smitten. So much so, in fact that I moved into the neighbourhood! First I was a regular, then a nuisance, and finally a piece of furniture. I finally moved back to Markham in 1998, and cannot justify going anywhere south of Steeles Avenue without stopping into Allen's for lunch. The food is imaginative, superbly prepared, and so delicious, that even when I'm full, I often look at the menu again, just to see what I'll be ordering on my next visit! And the patio? The owner/manager also offered me fresh coffee as my coffee got warm while understanding the payment concern. They also made my order for banana chocolate chip brownie complimentary. I cant say enough good things about Wooftown. First, our dog loves the food. When we gave him the previous food for the past 2 years he used to pick out certain pieces that he didnt want to eat and leave them around the house. We also put olive or coconut oil in the food to make sure he ate it. The Wooftown food he finishes completely and we dont need to add anything to it. Second, one of the bags of food we had delivered was ripped open by a Racoon because we did not realize it had been del Lire plus
