The food is very good, fresh and definitely homemade. The staff/owners are very friendly and wonderful with kids. Child meals are large enough for 2 kids to share, and come with an ice-cream dessert! Love the bright coloured decor and the ceramic topped tables, very mexican very vibrant, and I really like it when they play mellow mexican music, I can stay all day! I've also been there in the evening for drinks and appetizers out on the patio, it was a very relaxing evening, enjoyed it very much and can't wait to go back when the warm weather returns. We have been coming here for several years now and just can't stay away. It's the service and staff that make it for us! The food is not fancy, just reliable and good. We order from here regularly, we have only ordered the Thai items a couple of times. WE LOVE THE HAKKA dishes. It is very difficult to find any good hakka restaurants in the area especially oshawa/whitby area. Our regular dishes are the: -Bombay chicken -any of the chili or manchurian chicken or beef or shrimp (the shrimp dishes are a little smaller than the chicken or beef )but very tasty. -pad thai/ hakka special chow mein We really like the fact that they have come to know us so when we ask for extra spicy it is extra spicy, never been disappointed. If you are into this type of food then it is definately worth a try. We don't eat in because of our kids but the atmosphere seems very pleasant when we have picked up food. I Lire plus
