Best Sunday Brunch in Victoria. It may be a little pricey ($30) but is completely worth it. A traditional brunch with a west coast flair. If you are planning on going to a special occasion (Mother's Day etc) be sure to make reservations far in advance as it really fills up.

5th Street is a must for any wanting a fun night out without breaking the bank. The food is delicious and everything falls into either the $5 $10 or $15 menu. The plates of food are very generous.

I stumbled accross Vic's Steakhouse last Friday and was more than happy I did. I was staying in the James Bay area for a week and was surprised that I hadn't heard of this gem from more people!
We sat in the lounge and were served by a bartender who was charismatic and knowledgable. The service was prompt but not rushed, and we were treated to great music by a live band.
I ordered the halibut, as I do not eat meat, and it was done perfectly. Very simple but flavourful at the same time. My companion ordered a steak and said it was one of the best he had experienced in Victoria so far! We shared a home made ice cream sandwich for dessert and at the end I was so full we ended up staying and enjoying the band for another cocktail.
I would reccommend this restaurant to tourists and locals alike and will definitely return!

Went for burgers as we needed a quick meal before we checked in for the afternoon. The food was super and the mushroom burger just felt right with beer.

This is the mark of a true restaurant, always reliable and always value. teenagers love the pasta selection and Americana pizza. We Never had any problem but I know management are right there to deal with anything in case. Don't overlook takeout after a trip back from a movie etc. and pick-up an Italian dinner your wife didn't have to cook . Keep the number on your dash!

Great value - Great Food - Great Service
We went to Cravings for Valentine's and it was simply one of the best dinners we have had in Vancouver. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. They had a great selection of 4 starters and a selection of 4 entrees. We had the " best of both worlds" - an awesome combo of seafood, chicken and steak. The tiger prawns were huge and grilled to perfection. The double bittersweet chocolate cake for dessert was outstanding in both presentation and taste. Great selection of wines - reasonable prices and a very quiet setting. Highly recommend this restaurant.

If you would like to take a date or your significant other out for a romantic dinner at a restaurant with a very nice quite, dimly lit intimate atmosphere where the service is first rate the wine list is simply huge and the food is of the finest quality this is the place to go.
The restaurant supports local farmers and serves foods from around the South Vancouver Island area.
This isn't one of those BIG plate Small food places that charges a fortune. The portions don't appear to be as large as they really are. The way the chef marries many falvours together with each dish is nothing short of spectacular.

If there is a heaven, I hope to God Mon Petit Choux is the caterer. I'm pretty sure I could easily live out the rest of my natural life at a table in the corner - and easily slip into the next life completely satisfied.
Why is it so divine, you ask? Well, for starters it's a French bakery and that's just about all you need to know. These people can do things with pastries that will make you forget you ever knew of the word diet - seriously look at the pictures!
I started with the quiche, moved onto this divine pizza pastry, tried just about all of my friends pastries and finished off with a cappuccino. Then I went back to my hotel room and slept off the carb sins.
I did not repent, nor do I ever plan to.
One small word of warning for people with allergies though. The kitchen is not separate from the dining room and the air is filled with flour and sugar. Within 15 min of being inside my eyes were itchy and watering - but my companions who don't have allergies were fine.
Oh, and we smelled like pastries for the rest of the day - which isn't necessarily a bad thing :-)

I love middle Eastern food but it's hard to find a restaurant that does it good. And my partner's a vegan and there's so much here to eat.
The persian chicken plate is made from free-range chicken and smothered in a great selection of spices - i think they said 18 different ones!
This is my favorite place for baklava too. The syrup they us is perfect.

This place is the hottest freshest fast food in Nanaimo. Honestly, no one else serves food this good anywhere else. My spinach burrito was out of this world. My friend ordered enchiladas and said he's never had pico sauce this good anywhere else.
Don't forget a salad to go with your meal. Fabulous!

We go here quite often. It is located away from the town of Sidney in the industrial area kind of. It is a great little family run restaurant. I usually get sandwich. My husband always gets their breakfasts. It isnt a very big restaurant and not alot of parking, but they make a good meal.

In contrast with the other restaurants in town, I found East Garden to reign supreme in every aspect of my dining experience. Their decor consisted of nothing but the most extravagant and visually aesthetic representation of chinese culture that I have seen thus far in my long lived life. As for the food... well. I find that words cannot do justice to the oral pleasures that I consumed at this haven of culinary excellence. When It comes to the service at East Garden, one could only compare such satisfaction to the feeling of eating from a 76 year old woman named Esther. If that doesn't sum up the kind of experience that East Garden has to offer, I don't know what else will.

This is an old time favourite, I don't know how they do it, but they always have a special and it is always the best in town. Off the menue, the Fajita's are some of the best in the city, they make a great burger too. Thi is a very busy spot on Fridays after work for locals, and does a good business on Wednesday and Thursday evenings too with sports groups and locals. The place is loud when busy, do to a horrible wood ceiling they added 4 or 5 years ago when they renevated. But it is quite and slower paced at noon and early in the week, or surprisinly on weekends. Over all it is my favourite in the city - don't ruin it!
