Switched from Motul 5100 to AMSOIL 10W-40 Synthetic Motorcycle Oil. "The Motul 5100 Semi Synthetic is a lot more viscous than the AMSOIL. In terms of performance, I have found any oil change be it a car, motorcycle, boat whatever etc always feels like it has a better “Get up and Go” after an oil change. The main reason I switched to the AMSOIL full synthetic is that full synthetic SHOULDN’T break down as quickly as a semi or conventional oil. THIS is where the extra $$$ for the AMSOIL should come into play. That being said it is hard to know when the breakdown period is with any oil, and the trick (in my eye) is to keep on top of regular oil changes in order to prevent breakdown from happening. After 3000kms the oil that I drained out of the CBR yesterday still looked not to bad and smelt okay. I think the bike runs a touch smoother with the AMSOIL because of the viscosity, it’s that much thinner of an oil, and the bike seems to idle lower and run more freely than with the Motul Semi Syn. I have always heard good things about this product along with Mobil 1 Full Syntheic & Royal Purple… The customer service and location of you guys makes this a smart choice! We had our heat pump fail on New Years a couple of years ago. Called one company who came out and took out a part that was causing the heat pump to fail. So he hooked up so our electric furnace would keep us warm. It did of course, but we then used a lot more electricity- enough that the Hydro company called because our bill/usage had skyrocketed. Unfortunately, this company didn't deal with replacing a heat pump. We found one dealer who came out and said a particular part was kaput, so we needed to replace the furnace and the heat pump. and gave us a price. At that point, we figured if it was the whole system to replace, we should check out another quote. So one of the companies we called was Grand River. Bill came out assessed the situation. He found that that part could have been replaced for a lot less than the whole new system. In the end, we did replace the whole system, partly because there were government incentives at the time which gave us about a $1000 in rebates. And we appreciated Bill's honesty and expertise. Our system was over 20 years old and the heat pump compressor was not in the best of shape. Thanks Bill for the excellent service. Lire plus

The service was Great from the start to finish....I liked that they came to give you a quote and took the time to talk with you and allow you to ask any questions without any pressure to go with them. We made a date for the roof to be done and they showed up on the day ready to work and were done in one day as promised and left everything very clean....you would not know they were there except for the beautiful new roof.
