This restaurant has some of the most interesting decor I have ever seen. It looks like my vision of a mediterranean restaurant from the '70s...which makes it even funnier that this is a Thai restaurant. All that aside, the food forgives all mistakes the decor makes. They make a very decent cashew nut chicken and all of their yellow and green curry options are really good. The spring rolls are outstanding and the sauce makes them even better. The pasta can tend to be ordinary from the perspective of the selections but they put together good food and they offer a fun atmosphere and decor that makes them a good family restaurant for when you are downtown with your family. Going along Broadway I have noticed the restaurant many times and finally decided to drop in for brunch to give it a go. We sat outside, we didn't mind waiting for a table there. All tasted fresh and tasty and unique blend. The brewed unsweetened iced tea was a nice finish. The restaurant has this wooden, rustic open feel. The restaurant is located just shy of chinatown on main in a less traffic area with plenty of access to street parking. We tried their spicy tuna belly roll, fried chicken wings and crispy market fish which was very moist inside We also had their chocolate cake and ovalatine creme brulee which was pretty good and so Asian. We tried one of their mixed beef pho with beef slices, brisket and balls and a salad roll for a lighter meal. No problem to get a table later in the evening. Plenty of street pay parking. The service was good, we were seated right away and had our order taken promptly. The food came pretty fast and was good. You are given your own pot of tea which is great to self refill. Lire plus

My wife and I used to love strolling the city and ending up at the Irish Heather for a pint (or three) and some fantastic authentic pub fare. This was in their original location. Then, we had a family and it took us a while to get back but we finally got back to check out their new digs and new menu. While the beer selection is still fantastic we were disappointed in the overall vibe. The food was still good but the value took a bit of a hit from their original location. Excellent service as they checked in on us several times even without having to push the call button. Three of us had the tofu in seafood broth-comforting, bibimbap with spicy chicken pieces, dumplings in beef bone soup-nice mild broth, short ribs-tender, seafood pancake-loaded with toppings, and of course many sides.
