My husband and I went for lunch following the Carleton Place Triathlon. My husband got a free meal with his tri registration. He had a spicy chicken wrap with cold soup. He loved it. I had the veggie smash burger with sweet potato fries. It was the best veggie burger I've ever had. It came home made mustard, relish and ketchup on the side (all were amazing). I recently retired from the GTA and moved to Lanark Highlands. We decided to try your restaurant last weekend. My girlfriend had the goulash and I had the schnitzel which was the second best I've ever had. The best was my late mother's. But you did come a very close second. The prices I found were reasonable and not overpriced as some patrons would lead you to believe. And if you complain about the wait, remember you're not eating at McDonalds.
