Christien's restaurant was a very fun experience. The food and service were both better then expected for the volume of customers there on a friday night (may 25). We made reservation and got exactly what we asked for. Service was prompt and startes made it the table less then 15 minutes after ordering. Hubby and I always look forward to a trip to London so that we travel back to Woodstock thru Thamesford. We always enjoy lunch at Tokyo Joes. Just there today, had two specials, my husband the burger and fries, myself, a Caesar Chicken wrap and fries. The fries were fresh & hot, the burger was homemade and the Caesar wrap was one of the best I have ever had, complete with fresh cooked bacon. My husband and I love to eat at Johnny's during the summer. My favorite is the steak!! Nicely done. And greek salad. It's hard to find a decent greek salad but Johnny's has a wonderful one! We stayed at the Comfort Inn in Simcoe last night and this was recommended as the best breakfast in town. It was a good breakfast but didn't live up to that recommendation. Coffee was very good; service was very quick. Very quick but our order was still served good. The waitress was very good about getting it heated up when we explained it was cold. Staff at the Broadway subway make excellent subs and are friendly/helpful with customers and with each other. I've noticed that the owner can be harsh with her staff publicly. Due to that I wont be going back to the Subway on Simcoe Street. Lire plus

I don’t eat out a lot cause I feel like I can do just as good a job at home cooking, but this night we felt lazy so off to dinner we went. We picked a great place. Food was great, in fact my son enjoyed his burger more than the ones at home. Service was very friendly and helpful as my wife wanted something light and couldn’t make up her mind, the server took her time with us and helped make decisions. She recommended the fajitas to my Daughter, and wow what a hit. After reading a couple of the negative reviews, I don’t know what these people are talking about, cause our meal was perfect. And clearly one of the reviewers doesn't know what he's talking about, cause in Ontario, you can serve alcohol at 18, and drink at 19, so I guess that sums up his review and how factual it can be. I have visited this sushi restaurant many times since it has opened and I bring new people with me to share the experience. The food is fantastic, fresh and tasty. My favorites is the seaweed salad and the mango rolls although there are many dishes I like. The prices are very good for all you can eat or order meals off the menu. It is not a buffet but you order dishes until you are full. But remember that if you can't eat it you can take it home for the price of the dish. Which is fair.
