While we were at the restaurant, the fire alarm went on for about 20 minutes. Needless to say it was not that pleasant. Out waiter however handled it great. he was very attentive to his clients, apologizing for the inconvenience and the restaurant not only offered us a free desert ( their special deep dish cookie! yum) but 2 coupons for a free desert the next time we visit. Superb service and food make this place somewhere to return again and again. Very attentive staff, excellent Italian dishes. I had the piping hot Minestrone vegetable soup and fresh fish of the day. The others had pasta or beef tenderloin. Everyone loved their meals. Based on other online reviews, the Pantheon is arguably the best Greek restaurant in Greek Town, Toronto. We made reservations ahead of time, had the much reviewed and loved Saganaki, which they light up at your table and the chicken souvlaki; the large and small portions. The chicken was ridiculously good, the potatoes were incredible and the rice was fantastic. With two greek beers and a red wine, our bill totaled $65. It was a good experience, we will return again.
