I have been going to J. Max mechanical exclusively for over 25 years. When I purchased a new Civic in 2006, I skipped the dealership's mechanical section and stayed with J. Max. I'm a woman and all the staff are respectful. They don't talk down to me or over my head. My SUV back window was vandalized and severely cracked. The wind over the weekend had blown most of the glass into my vehicle. I called other places but no one could get me in as quickly as Mr Auto Glass, plus their rating was high. they filed my MPI claim, installed new back window and cleaned inside of the vehicle. it was a hassle free experience. Went into speedy on Saturday to repair my rearview mirror that had fallen off. I tried to repair it myself and surprisingly to no one but myself did it wrong. They informed me they could repair my mistake for $15. I thought that was a great price as it cost me $10 to do it wrong. Me and my two sons waited about 5 minutes and the repair was done. We were informed that there would be no charge and I should take the boys out for ice cream with the $15 I saved. Small acts of kindness like this need to be recognized.
