Went to T.O Aug 9, 2010, wife & I had lunch here before the Paul McCartney concert. Small & cramped , but oh sooo good! I had the tempura bento , came with miso soup, 4 sashimi sushi, hot rice & sesame dressed salad. My wife had the teriyaki salmon, ( generous portion) bento, came with 8 tempura sushi & same sides. Would return again in an instant, priced right $12.95 ea, prompt service, delicious !

Dos Amigos was a great experience. The intimate atmosphere great food and soft music made for a memorable evening. Drinks were also great, yet slightly expensive (as most things are in Toronto). At Dos Amigos we find an elegantly decorated Mexican restaurant that strives to master quality and preparation in all its offerings. The menu ranges from burritos to nachos to chicken mole to fresh snapper ceviche to filet mignon in guajillo sauce, a spicy red wine blend. The staff was small in the even smaller restaurant, but it only added to the intimacy. The staff was very helpful, always seeming to know exactly when we needed help. They were helpful and dressed very appropriately for the restaurant. I would recommend trying their martini drinks as the bartender was wonderful making them. This restaurant is a great place to bring a date. Bon appetite!

Had the most enjoyable 3 1/2 hr dinner experience with friends. Food was excellent, service great and we didnt feel uncomfortable that we needed to leave! Thank you Jean and staff for a memorable evening...we ll definitely be back soon.

Excellent. What a wonderfully authentic hole in the wall. Though the servers struggled in communicating, they were warm and efficient. I have had a lot of great Japanese, and this is right up there. The food was so fresh and evidently high quality. The prices are reasonable as well. Will come back and recommend

Right on Dundas and Elizabeth, this little gem is sort of hidden downstairs. My Chinese friends refer to it as 'the basement' rather than its name. The bigger the group, the cheaper the meal. Dim Sum is good and very inexpensive ($2.20 - $3.70 per item). If you are going for lunch during the week, get there EARLY as it fills up very quickly. Once you have had lunch there, you will understand why. The Dim Sum is served from carts, so there are times when some of it may not be as hot as it should be, but I have never found that to be a problem since the food is very good. The decor is very basic with plastic table clothes, but the restaurant is quite clean, so that is not a problem. I go there regularly and recommend it.

We went there for nice dinner during winterlisious 2012.
Overall restaurant is very busy but cozy and romantic. Our server was running around in hurry and as a result during entire evening mixed up who ordered what, since it was only two of us it was ok to switch.
Food Overall was very good: My appetizer was yumm and so is my the other person, soft deep fried calamari was excellent. Chicken skewers were moist and sauce was perfectly spicy.
For the main dish disappointment arrived, all main dishes come with rice and stir fry. Stir fry was the WORST I have ever tried, super hard giant pieces of cabbage+ raw zucchini made it unpleasant both on taste and texture. Main dish of red curry was excellent and rice was perfectly done. Basil beef was amazing (properly the softest piece of beef I have ever tried in my life).
Desserts were good too my mango-chocolate mousse cake was heavenly and banana fritter had amazing crunchy but sweet coating on it .

A friend of a friend asked me to come to the grand opening to this new spot. Free food! Was so good i was compelled to leave 20$. This is now my new fav sushi spot. Not only was the fish so fresh it melted in my mouth, the cooked mackreal was as fresh and delicious as when i caught it myself back in Nova Scotia. THe decor was traditional, BUT was more fun, and the art was done by one of the owners....Heart and soul in every aspect.

The store hours are very convenient since I have been retired for ten years. Overhead signs on the aisles are often meaningless. I was looking for a jar of honey and the correct aisles is SPREDS.
I have to walk with a cane but when I push the cart that works very well. How you assign shelf space has not changed. Almost an entire length of an aisle shows unhealthy cereals! You stock only KASHI 2 different boxes. Potato CHIPS get a lot of shelf space - none are healthy .....

we are here to try something we haven't tried last time~ here we go~
Tempura & Kalbi combo is delicious~ tempura vegis include 3 shrimps, 1 green pepper, 1 cucumber, 1 broccoli, 1 white onion, 1 sweet potato...(maybe i missed 1 more vegi) however, it's very satisfying... grilled kalbi is like bone-in beef teriyaki... very flavorful~
Sushi & Sashimi combo is awesome-ly fresh-ly delicious~ simply excellent for its price~
alright~ here comes the Salmon Head BBQ~ without this meal, I will give them 5 stars on Food catagory~ it's kinda dissapointing that the Salmon Head isn't grilled to order~ the salmon skin isn't charred till crispy~ it's more like it has been "microwaved"~ the interior is a bit hotter than the exterior of the Salmon~ the only drawback of the whole meal~ however~ the rest is still maintained to its perfection so far~ keep it up~ and see you next time~
