The Buffalo Chicken sandwich was fresh and not greasy like so many other places. The chicken breast was plump and juicy. Very flavorful.
Accompanied with a side garden salad, it was a crisp, heathy alternative to the usual fried companion...
The bartenders were friendly and conversive with me at the right time...never when my mouth was full...

My husband and I were recently at the Mill Cafe for lunch with a few friends from out of town. We have been local to the area, but had not been in since the restaurant was renovated. The decor was delightful and vibrant, with unique artwork covering the walls. We were pleasantly greeted by our server who encouraged us to sit wherever we pleased. The menu was fun and fresh and we found it extremely difficult to have to choose from all the delicious items. Our lunch arrived very quickly, and we were more and more pleased with every bite. IT WAS EXTRAORDINARY! We felt very welcomed by both serving and kitchen staff (as this is an open concept restaurant) and we will gladly be back again! ... and again!

A hidden gem. No need to go to Toronto for the elegance and fine dining. Just terrific! The food presentation was great and the aromas and taste were "WOW"......very pleasing to the pallette. The starters, mains and dessert just seem to blend together..... the tastes just perfectly matched. Eugene, thanks for the birthday Gal's dessert. We'll be going back with some friends for sure.

Food was amazing, had the blackened trout and it was delicious. The prices are reasonable and even more so considering the quality. Staff was very friendly. The atmosphere is suitable to be well dressed, however, we visited on return from a camping trip Tobermory and received not a single awkward look. Even better, the staff squeezed us in without a reservation and was very welcoming.

Local pub with small-town feel but a huge atmosphere. Well priced, diverse soul food menu, friendly staff, cottage-rustic vibe and a nice selection of beer.
We went on Wednesday Wing night and it was packed by 5:30 with a short line-up to get in. They had a table for us right away in a nice location. One of us wanted wings and asked if there were any dry-rubbed flavours, as there didn't appear to be any on the menu. To our delight they had a dry Cajun flavour that was excellent. Wings themselves were large and meaty and the vegetables that came with them were just enough and freshly cut. All of which was served with a generous stack of napkins and wet-wipes.
The other ordered the aptly named "Long-Weekend Burger" complete with cheddar & Swiss, sautéed mushrooms & caramelized onions and opted for sweet-potato fries as a side for an additional cost. (I don't know about you, but whenever there's a "long-weekend" in my circle there's always bacon involved ~ but they had another burger with some on it) The burger itself was huge, juicy, and did not have a lot of added flavouring allowing the true taste of the beef to come through. This allowed the flavour to be somewhat customized with the good selection of condiments delivered to the table. Freshly cut tomatoes & red onion topped it under a nice Kaiser roll. Sweet potato fries were plentiful, crisp, long and lightly dusted with sea salt to be complimented by white or malt vinegar and/or their own house dip.
Beers were served in a frosted glass, which compelled us to have more than one ~ otherwise this would be in the $11-25 range!
Bathrooms were clean and adequate. House was well-kept. The only gripe we had was the dim lighting which made it hard to read the Trivial Pursuit cards at each table (which were a very nice touch, even though they were obviously an older US edition!)
It's rare to have a great dining experience in such a packed house. Overall this was a great meal and it will likely become a default destination if we can't decide where else to try.

There aren't many places in the area where one can get fish & chips, unless they drive to Barrie and go to Fancies Fish & Chips. Blue Water Fish & Chips is a small restaurant with a tired decor. Mind you there are historical photos of boats that have travelled Georgian Bay & the Great Lakes and are interesting to look at..
We love the halibut served here. While the portion size is small it is extremely tasty, with mild tasting halibut and a golden batter. After the second or third bite you can taste & feel the grease but isn't that to be expected with deep fried fish? I've never eaten fish & chips that I haven't tasted the grease.
We hate it when the restaurant is closed for vacation. We love eating here and they even have lots of newspapers and reading material for those of us that prefer to read while we're eating.
All we've ever ordered has been the fish & small chips or else we'll order 2 fish and a small chip each and we never go away hungry.

We rolled into Tobermory about an hour before close on a very rainy night. The owner was the only server in a moderately busy restaurant. Service was attentive despite the under-staffing (she had an ill worker), the bread obviously home made and yummy, and the salad was fresh and generous. Decor was dated (it would seriously benefit from RESTAURANT MAKEOVER) and the mene could have more healthful options, but overall it was a pleasant surprise given the limited options of the locale.

My hubby and I decided last minute to grab a bite to eat, I had the steak on a bun with onions and fries and he had a bacon cheeseburger & we had battered veggies...again it was excellent, we were stuffed before we cleaned off our plates - it's so nice to have dinner out and get lots of food at such low prices! A+++

My friend and I have been to, The Spot Restaurant, 3 times now. Twice during Covid-19. These two times were takeout only, but we did sit at the picnic tables provided. The third time we were allowed to sit indoors. Every time the service has been excellent. The food even better. We plan to visit again.

Got rained out camping and was looking for a warm place with great food and we found it at Allan's Fireside Grill. Food was delicious, staff were freindly and welcoming and more than accomodating with our messy 13 month old daughter. Would highly recommend it.

As a ski instructor at Blue I've had 2 accidents in four years resulting in "emergency dept" medical care. On both occasions the care and professionalism of all staff, including admin, nursing care and doctors has been totally exceptional.
My latest accident was only a cracked rib but I can attest from my more serious accident (a cervical fracture, emergency surgery and ongoing rehab) that our Health Care system is a marvelous treasure and Collingwood Hospital is a wonderful part of it.

We dined at the Siamese Gecko last evening for our anniversary. The menu had plenty of options, you could choose from curries, stir frys, and soups. After each meal title, there is a ranking of how spicy the dish is starting at not spicy going up to very, very spicy. I chose item 25-2 (sorry, the name escapes me) because it was under the very, very spicy and it certainly was. Even with my tongue on fire, there was an amazing amount of flavour. It was served on a platter with chicken, green beans, sweet red pepper, Thai basil, kaffir lime and crushed hot peppers. My wife had a squash curry that was delightfully creamy and the squash melted in your mouth. It was a non spicy dish with some sweetness in it and again, plenty of flavour. The prices are excellent, most dishes range from 9.99 to 11.99 and we both brought home half of our dinners. Meals do not come with rice or noodles, they are extra. However it was only 1.99 for a bowl of rice that was more than adequate and the whole cost of the meal was very affordable. Service was adequate, the restaurant was clean including washrooms. We both highly recommend!

When Willy arrives on the scene, you can rest assured your plumbing problems are over. Willy has installed a new submersible water pump for us, plumbed a new hot water tank and fixed and replaced leaking pipes. He is a real knowledgeable guy. It doesn't take long for Willy to determine what the problem is and he will fix it.

Wow! I was just looking up the new store hours since the Covid 19 and couldn believe the bad reviews. I stop in and pick up things 2-3 times a week at this store and have never had a problem. The staff have been nothing but helpfulness and friendly. They never seem to mind if I ask for help finding something. They stop what they are doing and give me their undivided attention. As I work nights the store hours suit my schedule and I see a lot of different staff. Never a problem with my bill
