Unassuming location adds to the charm. After finding out about Chefs Kebab I have been back over the past year probably 15 times; so this review is not from a single visit... it is ALWAYS VERY GOOD! The staff do a great job and it is a pleasure dropping in for lunch or dinner. Amazing sushi at incredible prices! Sushi Nanaimo is an one of a kind because they offer delicious rolls and combos at prices you really cant find anywhere else. The Awesome roll, Alaska Roll, and Nanaimo roll are my favourites and the Dinner for two combo is also great value if you are there with a friend. This place is cool! Arguably, the best wings I have ever had! My boyfriend and I have eaten at many grills, restaurants and the Wings are close the best! Our waitress provide us great service and she was so pretty! ^^ My favourites are Maple Bourbon, Bula Fiji, Maui Lime, and Sweet Thai. It was definitely the most fun experience I have had in this kind of restaurant and especially in the lower room, where there are several projectors and big screens. Recommended~ Lire plus

I moved to Surrey 2 years ago and just couldn't find any restaurant that served good old fashion home cooked greasy spoon diner fare. I spotted Round-Up Cafe on a drive by and decided to pull over and try it out. They refurbished the chairs to a fabulous sparkly silver. It is cozy and comfy and very clean and the owners are extremely friendly. I ordered a soup for my toddler and a special for myself. I was surprised the special came with a soup and a desert which was nice for $12. Coffee is $2.10 and they only charge once and are excellent with refills. Food was 'just like grandma used to make' very tasty. Soup was a bit to peppery for my taste buds. My main was excellent but if you don't want gravy, you need to order it on the side or they pour it on. Coffee was excellent. My son loved the vanilla pudding - another unexpected surprise. The restaurant was packed at lunch on a weekday. This is a restaurant I would recommend Grandad to visit. Nice old fashion 1940s diner feel with good home cooking. Lire plus

You have to remember when going here that this is a wine tasting room, not a place to have dinner. The wine list is imaginative and approachable. The service on a good night is excellent, on a bad night is so-so, but the staff have always been very helpful with the wine choices, pairings, and flight recommendations. The food is charcuterie, not full meals. Use this place to meet up for a pre-dinner drink, or to end off the night with some wine appreciation. Lire plus
