Had to take a minute to thank El Cheapo because their movers went above and beyond. We had rain to deal with, a narrow staircase at the first location and a tiny elevator at our new apartment but they were efficient and professional- I felt like we didn't lose any time at all, and it kept our costs down. My refrigerator suddenly stopped operating, and I called Toronto Appliances Service asking for a repair consultation. Not only was my request last minute, it was also during the Easter long weekend and in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic. Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Ample parking space and seating available. Very, very clean restaurant and the food was extremely fresh.
Owners are very humble people and the prices are cheap for Afghani restaurant.
We ordered chicken kofta kabab, Bakhtar Kabab, Half Chicken BBQ, and Afghani Pulao. All things were very flavorful and nice and came with Afghan style rice and Afghan salad. Definitely looking forward to my next trip there.

We picked up a large snow blower Nov.18,2018.at the Newmarket Store. Three young men and a supervisor on his way out stopped to load this machine. No easy task.They gave 110%. Polite, willing , diligent. We finally got it in. They went beyond & deserve to be acknowledged.

My fave fish and chips place! I've tried tried a couple of places in Toronto but this one for me has been the best. The crowd here generally is seniors. Food and service is great. I always get halibut for fish and chips. They make it nice and crispy, tastes fresh, and not too oily. The chips r fresh and filling. My friends enjoyed the food too when I take them.
