When you walk in you're surprised with how beautiful the place is. When getting your hair cut, the stylist and their service is all important more important than the salon, and the best salons attract the best stylists. I've always had a hard time getting a good haircut even at some of the most expensive places in town. Beaute came highly recommended, I got my hair and makeup done and they truly do an amazing job. Sooo happy with my hair!! She is so fast and so accommodating. The hair she uses is such good quality. I feel like a princess :) My hair is absolutely flawless for months. Bob does amazing carpet cleaning work that's above and beyond the rest, he's very thorough, and explains in great detail his process for cleaning carpets. I'm very impressed with the work he has done in our Condo Building common areas. Another note, I had two areas in my condo carpet where one of my two cats urinated and he has a special way of cleaning and deodorizing pet pee/poop, so if you have a pet that's done the same as mine Foster's "Expert" Carpet Care is the place to CALL!! Due to their popularity I think it has been a long time since this location was their main production facility but that hasn't stopped them from turning this into a unique and fun tourist attraction on the Island. Offering tours daily, you can learn about how their beer is made and more about the history of this unique little piece of brewing history in Vancouver. Granville Island Brewery was one of the first microbreweries in Canada and obviously they did a great job because they started a revolution in the Canadian brewing industry and were even just acquired by Molson Coors earlier this year. After your tour you get to sit and enjoy a sampler tray of 3 different beers. Or, you can just skip the tour and belly up to the bar in the tasting room and try all of their great brews named after Vancouver neighbourhoods and landmarks. I have been frequenting this store for a number of years and love the ever changing variety of goods they carry. I like that they use where possible suppliers and supplies that are local or from other parts of Canada. I have a sofa from them which is perfect. I have a chair I purchased from them and they covered for me. Excellent work in matching the upholstery design, making extra cushions.
