I recently had an upper denture and a lower partial made at this clinic. The denturist did an excellent job and made certain everything was just right. I have had work done with this clinic in the past and had the same great experience. The receptionist is friendly and helpful and I would not hesitate to go back if needed. Marion R

Modern and clean with experienced staff. They direct bill and have very knowledgeable dentists. They are a family friendly dental office but also have the in house expertise to do dental implants, grafting, and full mouth aesthetic dentistry. They are also open Saturday and Sundays.

My regular hairdresser had gone on maternity leave, so I was searching for a new stylist. Reviews on Yelp for The Beauty Parlour were great, so I decided to give it a try.
From the moment you walk in the entire atmosphere (music, decor, etc.) have an incredibly calming effect. Parking wasn't an issue, and it's at the beginning of Whyte Ave before you start running into a lot of traffic. Aspen, the manager, was very efficient, polite, and welcomed me right away. My stylist, Alysha, listened to what I wanted, made some great suggestions for cut, colour, and styling techniques, made me feel very comfortable (latte.. yes please! Scalp massage... thank you!!) and did a fantastic job on my hair.
As well, the products are sulphate, paraben, and ammonia free. Great news for pregnant ladies and anyone trying to live a less toxic lifestyle! They still work great; in fact, the hair products I left with work better than any other high end items I've purchased in the past, and smell amazing!
I left extremely relaxed and happy with the overall experience. I will definitely be back, and would recommend this salon to anyone.

If you like vinyl then I recommend checking this place out. They also carry a lot of more interesting groups that not many people are familiar with as well. Wish they had more jazz and metal though.

I did my EMR course 3 years ago and came back to renew my certificate. After already attending Alfred's class previously, I was looking forward to the renewal. He didn't disappoint with his sense of hummour to keep us engaged. He is also super knowledgeable on all courses and Alberta standards. When you don't understand something he makes sure to explain differently so you can understand. He gives you the time needed to ensure you pass and understand everything. Seriously the best experience at a salon. I had extensions put in from someone else and they went horribly wrong but Kim saved my hair and installed beautiful extensions to boot! Super friendly and knowledgable staff. And even great conversationalist (thank god) because I was there for 6 hours while Kim, and another staff member fixed my hair. Beyond happy that I have found this place!!!
