We recently moved very close to this little gem of a restaurant. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the food is some of the best Thai food we have had. The spices levels are just right. Wonderful soups and pad thai.

Love coming here when visiting my family. We usually all eat from the buffet. There is not a huge selection; however, the food in the buffet is always replenished quickly so it is always hot and fresh. Their garlic prawns are definitely a favourite. Service is always wonderful!

Excellent friendly staff! specifically at this location. Unlike the reviewer below( believe she has the wrong store altogether )The severs remember my orders, including the extra toppings I like , and unlike most of the other subways here in Nanaimo, aren't cheap with the toppings . I specifically drive out of my way to go to this store - usually am there when its busy around lunch, but have also gone late in the evening and although the staff has changed , they also have given good service.

I’d say 3.5 really at the most, waitress was fantastic. Chefs don’t know their cook times. Steak I asked for medium, it came medium rare. Wife’s rack of
Lamb came medium rare when she asked for medium well. Food was tasty but for the price not really worth it. Place could use a renovation. Probably top notch back in the day.

I love middle Eastern food but it's hard to find a restaurant that does it good. And my partner's a vegan and there's so much here to eat.
The persian chicken plate is made from free-range chicken and smothered in a great selection of spices - i think they said 18 different ones!
This is my favorite place for baklava too. The syrup they us is perfect.

I was not that hungry and just had their granola parfait which was really good. My colleague had the Pantry breakfast which was good too. The service for a not so busy place on a weekday was not that responsive. The server kept doing other things like preparing the cutlery and we had long periods to order and for the bill. Lots of free parking at the mall.

Lovely food, wonderful presentation and went above and beyond, Helen and George did so much more than just cater our daughters wedding, but went out of their way to help out with so many things.... Very experience, very nice people who LOVE what they do. It shows. I will recommend their service to anyone who has an event from small to large. Cannot thank them enough for all their hard work and help.

A couple weeks ago I had a bite of a salad roll from East West Café from a co-worker, I was so impressed ive been paying people at work to go get them for me since for lunch. I once bribed my boss to go get me one when he said sure aslong as u buy me a Won Ton soup, apparently its the best...well I HAD to have my salad roll so I agreed. When he came back I tried the Won Ton soup and its the best ive ever had, ill be going back to East West for a long time to come :D
