Most people know what Starbucks does. For those of you that don't they are a great place to go for coffee-based beverages, smoothies, pastries and sandwiches. One of the things Starbucks does well is consistency, most times your favourite beverage is made well and the way you expect it. Let's face facts. Most Starbucks stores are more are less the same but that doesn't mean that they don't have differences. Here's what makes this store different. They are one of few drive thrus in the city and they are a convenient stop on the way into the city. They are not as convenient on the way out of the city but it can be done if you don't mind a circuitous route. The only problem with this store is that I have sometimes had some poor quality with my beverage. This is difficult when you have already continued on your way so i always make sure I take a sip before I pull away.

I am an ex patient of Dr Sestak.... and I have to say.... that there is NO better..... he is the best doctor that I have had in my life..... all 61 yrs!!! I only wish that he had a twin here on the Island!!

I stop at this Starbucks quite often on the way to work and they offer a great Starbucks experience here. The staff are friendly and welcoming and they do a good job of remembering the drinks of the regulars. A friendly hello and a wish for a good day go a long way in providing a quality experience and they do a good job in this respect. They are also obviously committed to delivering a quality product as I have almost always had a great beverage here and on the one time I didn't they gladly remade it and offered me a free drink coupon for next time. Not the greatest location in the world scenery wise but they make up for it with great customer service!

I LOVE this place!! If I win the lottery the first place I will go is Sephora! Highly recommend. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for and they do give awsome samples sometimes for free with purchase :)

Rocket Repro printed a headshot on canvas for me and it turned out better than expected. It actually looked like a real painting. The service was friendly and personal and they took great care to ensure the highest quality. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. They made the photo that I took on a cell phone, look like a studio shot with professional lighting. It was amazing. I gave it as a birthday gift to a friend and he loved it.

Dr. Merani had been recommended to me by my physician. I hesitated first to see a chiropractor but an alternate treatment did not help so I booked my first appointment. His approach made me feel like I was in good hands. He is very knowledgeable, professional, a good listener and caring. I was referred to Image Optometry from a local Ophthalmologist, the last time I got new glasses I went to one of these optical shops that do sight testing, it was horrible! Image Optometry provided me the most in depth eye exam the doctor was awesome, and even with a beautiful new pair of glasses, I was only charged $89.95 TOTAL!!! No taxes or anything, that was less than 1/4 of the sight testing guys that didn't even know what they were doing - I did some research, these guys don't even need any credentials! Go see a real doctor, go to Image!

We have been taking our pet here for the last 7 years. The care is fantastic and the staff really care about animals and ensuring the best care for your pet. When our cat was hit by a car they kept us up to date on his progress and ensured that they were upfront about the care and attention he needed and what the associated costs would be. It was great to go through this stressful situation with caring and compassionate service like Granville Island Veterinary Hospital offered. We took both of our daughters (3.5 and 1) to get their eyes checked with Dr. Clement Chan, and he did very well to make the eye exam quick and fun for them. My elder daughter had told him about her favourite Disney princess, and Clement prepared a special video of that princess for her to watch during one part of her eye exam. We appreciated Clement's thoroughness and friendliness, and will definitely be back.
As a bonus, his office is newly renovated and right besides Menchie's.
