Kirkwood Elevators is an excellent company to deal with. I recommend phoning them even if you are not local to their area, as in my case they were willing to travel hundreds of kilometres each way to install my lift, and were still able to match local prices.

Having recently had an awful experience at another local transmission shop, I was referred to Man-Mac by several customers of mine. Sandy and the staff were extremely courteous and knowledgeable and took the time to explain what was needed and gave good advice. I sent a slightly panicked email inquiry and Sandy called me twice and booked me in on short notice - They even provided me transportation! I was absolutely delighted with the care, quality and timeliness of their work.. real attributes! They did an outstanding honest job and got it right the first time! Now my car is running better than ever and I have one HAPPY Chevelle! I took it in again shortly thereafter for a non-transmission related issue, and they went above and beyond to help me out when it wasn’t even a transmission problem. The price was quite fair and they provided warranties for my parts. I had the best experience and was a pleasure doing business with them – Is such a relief to know I can trust my car to Man-Mac! The professionalism and customer service was truly appreciated! I would highly recommend this company to anyone at all and will return without a doubt when needed!

We blew a tire in Kamloops, our lock lug nut key was stripped and we couldn���t get anyone to come help us replace our spare. Phil went above and beyond to help us out. When he didn���t have the part needed to take the locked lug nut off he knew someone who did. He made sure our spare tire was full of air and called around at the end of the day to make sure we could get our tire replaced before continuing on our vacation. He made a crappy situation better. We are so grateful for all his help!

Last spring was the first time I drove from Vancouver to Kelowna, and forgot to fill up on fuel before getting on the Coquihalla. Of course we ran out of gas on the most treacherous stretch of the hwy without service. We are so extremely grateful to Richard Umpherville from VSA for saving us! We stopped at this climbing gym on our way through town last night. The facility is really nice and the staff was wonderful with me, my wife and our two little girls. Being inexperienced climbers, she gave us an excellent lesson on how to use the equipment and how to be safe etc. Great facility with great people would highly recommend.

Wow, Jays.. What can we say - he was a Godsend! Canada Day long weekend, on our way to my grandpas funeral and our van broke down in Kamloops. Canadian Tire couldn’t help, but they gave us Jays number. It seemed like the chances were slim that it would get fixed in time. But Jay was determined and got us on the road in time!! I have been going to La Jolie since they were at the St Paul St location. The office setting is extremely professional. Jacquie is a perfectionist. She is not happy until your procedure is perfect. All costs associated with your procedure are fully and clearly explained up front. All after care procedures are clearly explained before you leave the office. I go back every year or two as I am fair skinned and use a lighter coloured ink, therefore it fades a bit quicker than the darker shades
