We called Marc on a Saturday morning with a clogged kitchen sink drain, which proved to be more involed than you might think. Marc arrived about 30 minutes after we called. My boyfriend and I often go here because it's the only Dim Sum we know that uses carts in Mississauga. We particularly like it as they seem to have a much wider selection (e.g. crab claws, suckling pig) than normal restaurants which serve Dim sum.
In terms of quality, I don't think they are best. I have had much better quality of food at other restaurants. Also, even though the selection is vast... What happened to the shui mai? How do you have crab claws and not shui mai?!?! (Edit: Found out you need to order the shui mai... I did and it was not good at all)
I noticed the cart ladies seem to be a bit more strange than at other restaurants... Some will FLY past you, others will scream food names right at you. It is kind of fun for me and my boyfriend to laugh about. (I should note we are both Chinese and both have gone to various restaurants for Dim Sum, and we notice the cart ladies here are particularly strange)
What I found particularly interesting is how many non-Chinese people eat here. I think it's the only Dim sum place I have seen to have such a variety of people here.
I should note that this place gets amazingly busy around noon. My boyfriend and I tend to go around 10:30 or 11 and usually find a seat quickly. If you come at 12 (especially looking for a larger table) you are doomed! haha
So to sum it up:
-Amazing and sometimes unique selection... except that the shui mai has disappeared!
-Decent food quality but not the best. E.g. The shrimp in the ha gow tastes fishy, the dough fritter in the chun fun is soggy sometimes, the spare ribs in the black bean spare ribs w/rice are so boney ahhh!
-Strange cart ladies lol. Sometimes rude, sometimes friendly
-Get there before 12 if you don't like waiting! It's actually more normal to eat Dim sum earlier in the day anyway :).
Also, it seems one reviewer on here stated that the adults and kids are noisy. This is normal for a Chinese restaurant, especially as one as big as Emerald.

I have been dealing with this location Rona for the past 16+ years. I have had a few minor incidence but nothing to worry about( don’t sweat the small stuff). The staff are great to deal with, they spend time to explain the products. Cashiers, stocking, product counter, returns as well as the yard staff are all great.

I called Cambridge Garden Ctr yesterday asking for delivery of a cubic yard of garden soil. It was delivered by 10 am this morning!
Aries, the gentleman that delivered the soil maneuvered the truck boom around the tree limbs and to the upper level of our front yard to put the bag of soil exactly where I directed. I am delighted with the professionalism and service! This will save me moving all that soil up a grade by wheelbarrow.
