Stong's is another example of what a grocery store should be. Mostly food, lots of quality produce and fresh bakery and butcher selection and great service. I gather at one time there were several of these stores in the Lower Mainland and this store is the last of their kind. Thank goodness. A great place to buy all kinds of staples and also some hard to find items that aren't carried at major chains. Stong's is what the neighbourhood supermarket should be and their constant stream of customers is a testament to the quality and excellent customer service on offer.

Excellent customer service! My daughter found a pair of glasses at another optical store that were quite expensive. Sardis Optical offered to match the price, and with higher quality lenses that would benefit my daughter much more than the other store’s. We accidentally ordered the wrong colour, but they ordered in the right frames for us at no extra cost! Would definitely recommend and we’ll be returning customers.

I've been buy my glasses from them since 2003. I know the original owner as I sold computers to him. The current owner is Wayne and he is very knowledgeable about eye wear. They sell both regular glasses as well as contact lens. They don't rush me and explains clearly to me the options I've and the advantage/disadvantage of each choice. I live in Vancouver and tried the optician near me. It constantly broke, they gave me a refund and I went back to Wayne. I learn my mistake and switched back.

I do not need to look at the back to make sure he did a good job. I have always had compliments about my haircuts. Ralph saved my life in which my car unexpectedly had problems that came out of the blue. Since I am hard of hearing I could not hear over the phone that he texted me through Facebook to walk me through the car problems in which we discovered that it needed to go into the mechanic shop which I took it in. There were many problems that were addressed and fixed. And I was happy to bring my car home fixed. Yet unfortunetly the car began to leak again yet he fixed it right away. Will go back again!
