I love shopping in Verona Foodland. Staff is delightful and always ready to help if needed. Always ready to place an order if needed. All the produce is always fresh. I have never needed to return anything. Sincere Thanks to all the staff for excellent service over the years. I am going to miss you all after we have moved away in March.

I love shopping at the Independant, EVERYONE, from those that stock the shelves, to those on cash, and everyone in between, are so friendly, polite and courteous it’s ALL done with a smile. I’ve never left the store feeling anything but satisfied. They deserve a great big HUG. I could go on about everything else and how they help me but I’ve only got 500 characters. Always clean and great staff, however today I went in and they had a huge sign saying free fruit for the kids. Love this, makes shopping so much easier with hungry children. Thank you for being so awesome!!

I was shopping at your store on Sunday December 13th and would like to share this positive story of a cashier with you. I cashed out at 1025am in checkout #1, (slip #22600) the cashier was very courteous as they always are there. I took my groceries to my vehicle to load, I had alot so between 5-8 min had passed. Then my cashier came running out with my turnip that had got caught up in the conveyor belt. Great work ethics and she went beyond what was required, -3 and no coat too, thanks.

The owners of this store are excellent people to own and operate this store. I know these people personally and they are very honest owners and I know that they will and do treat their employees with respect and honestly. If I was looking for work I would not hesitate to contact them or to refer any other person I know to them to look out upcoming work.

Carry a quite reasonable amount of products for a rural store.
Has handled the COVID-19 demands well. Have reusable cloth facemasks embroidered with Sharbot Lake is all in this together for $3.99. Good for community spirit.
