It was a totally decent place, everyone was really friendly. We were travelling (moving) with cats and I smuggled my kitties in and they kind of turned a blind eye. Besides that everything was clean and professional. You always know what to expect with this chain - reasonable price, clean, everything works. I'd stay here again if I had to stay in Nanaimo and just wanted a good place to sleep (as opposed to a Bed and Breakfast or something).

What a beautiful get away. If you come to Vancouver Island to experience the West Coast and not some stuffy hotel room this is the place to be. It has waterfront river access and friendly West Coast welcome with gift baskets and personable service. The rooms were lovely. You can use the BBQ and the wharf. You can cook inside or outside and save on food costs. Great for families or friends or just to meet people in the outdoor areas if you want. I would love to come back with friends again.

Surrounded by beautiful gardens the Stanley Park Pavilion offers many places for pre or post wedding photo ops. With the Vancouver Aquarium and Stanley Park Train close by there are also options for your guests keep their little ones entertained. I have family that comes to visit who are unable to stay with us so we usually put them up at the Travelodge. The rates are fare and the staff are always so helpful. You have to remember when going here that this is a wine tasting room, not a place to have dinner. The wine list is imaginative and approachable. The service on a good night is excellent, on a bad night is so-so, but the staff have always been very helpful with the wine choices, pairings, and flight recommendations. The food is charcuterie, not full meals. Use this place to meet up for a pre-dinner drink, or to end off the night with some wine appreciation.

I’ve been a member at Victoria Athletic Club for a while now, and I have to say, it’s an amazing place to work out! The facilities are top-notch, with everything from state-of-the-art equipment to clean, spacious locker rooms. It’s clear they take pride in maintaining the place.
A special shoutout to Purav at the front desk – he’s always so friendly and welcoming! Every time I walk in, he greets me with a smile and is more than happy to answer any questions or help with anything I need.

You can generally get a good meal at the T&C coffee shop. We have gone there for years, so this review covers many different meals and many different visits. We always go back there; and sometimes they have an oustantding Sunday Brunch in their dining room.

I stayed here with my husband for the weekend after hearing about this from a friend. The hotel is on Government street which is the best shopping/tourist location, and is walking distance from the shops, the marina, the ferries and Chinatown. The hotel itself is a historic building from the old Victorian days, and as such its a bit dated however for the price and location I def think this is a hidden jem.
The restaurant attached to it is great too - if you love organic and tasty meals.
