Goldies pizza is different then your usual pizza place. It is distinguished by the pizza itself. When you buy a slice (or a whole pizza) you don't end up with a huge bready crust, Goldies is served rustic style... on thin crust. It's seriously the best pizza I have tasted in town. I prefer the mushroom pizza the most. YOu can see all the slices Goldies offers through their display window right off of Pender street, or you can go inside, sit at the bar, and order a beer while you they heat up your slice! I really liked the atmosphere. The owner, Michael, is a classy guy. He treats everyone with respect who walks in the door. They are also becoming more tech savy, and are adding their listings to Foursquare, and twitter. I checked into foursquare at goldies pizza, and got a dollar off their draft beer. Its a nice place! Casual atmosphere and high quality food is served here. The owner is the chef and enjoys his craft. The chicken where they poured hot oil over it to get the crispy skin, tofu and crab patties with seafood egg whites, fresh vegetables cooked just right, and seafood melon soup you need to preorder were my highlights I particularly liked. Their signature dish is a bitter melon omelette. Lots of parking in the plaza where it is located. Service is fairly good. Lire plus

You won't leave here hungry. At 945am on a Sunday we waited 45 minutes for a table. It was worth it. Good selection, good service and very good food. I couldn't help but stare at the sizable portions that went buy. My friend had the 3 little pigs, she loves corn dogs and I had their green eggs and ham on large biscuit. I can't say my dish looked appetizing as my eggs were scrambled with pesto but it was very good and filling and I couldn't finish. Cool atmosphere. Lire plus

My friend and I just had two items, fried tofu with Enoki mushrooms and another dish of fried fish with hot sauce on the side. We both thoroughly enjoyed the dishes and the price we found reasonable. We will go back to try other NO MEAT dishes net week. The place is very clean including the bathroom. I hate going to other Chinese restaurants where their bathrooms are filthy. Lire plus

At this restaurant, you order and pay for your food at the till, then go to your table and wait for the server to bring it out to you. You won't be disappointed when the food arrives.
