The Photographer studio was absolutely gorgeous and very affordable for how colourful and sleek the space is. There was a booking issue that could have been very frustrating but they corrected it right away and I would definitely use the space again.

London was such a great hair stylist, she was kind and time was starting to get late and at no time did she rush or make us feel like we were holding her up , she did a absolutely fantastic job on my granddaughter’s hair , she loves her bangs and foils , we will definitely be back and thank you London for the best experience a young lady could have , your awesome

Go for the food and stay for the entertainment. On the food side, this place does a great job. Start with the wings, lots of flavours. Move onto the Hunan Noodle Bowl with shrimp, you won't be disappointed or go with the burger, always a good choice. Most nights features some sort of entertainment.

I moved to Edmonton in january 2104 and I've been hearing horror stories about lots of hair salons and very pricy services.
I'm sooooo glad someone recomended Pure Vanity. Jason is an awesome hair stylist! I've never been disapointed and he gives the best head massages when applying conditionner ;)
You should try it out. Waaaaaay more affordable then the downtown salons.

I have always had my mom do my hair all my life, until she had to give it up. It was very hard for me to find a stylist that could match my mom. Stacey is my main personal stylist, with her mom Martha complimenting each others talents. I have done hair in the past, so you know right at the shampoo sink if you are going to have a good experience. Kix is an epic place to be. It is admirable to watch Stacey and her mom work side by side, as did my mom and I. Kix Salon is very clean, professional and courteous staff, a lively fun place to be, yet so completely relaxing. I often purposely go in extra early for my appointments, just to be in the environment. I feel so welcome at this salon. And let me also tell you, the Estetician/Stylist Tanya is HONESTLY the best of the best when it comes to nails. She uses NO dremal tool, and does it the safest and old fashion way. Each set of nails is custom designed and hand painted. Good Job Stacey and your team. You guys take the salon/spa experience to an entirely Supreme Level. My highest and personal recommendation :) It is just an extra special place to be, and you feel like a million dollars when you leave!!!

Heather MacQuarrie had been my stylist for years before she moved to Calgary, and I was very sad to see her go. She is an amazing stylist! Her ongoing training has ensured that she is always on top of the newest hair styles, colours, and tips and tricks. I would highly recommend Heather to anyone interested in a phenomenal colour, cut, or up-do!

I dropped by here and couldn't believe the prices. They have a huge selection of products for people with darker skins, but also products that can be used by people with lighter skins too. Wigs, extensions, cosmetics, all kinds of skincare products... And did I say the prices are just amazing?!? This store is convenient because, while it is along Calgary Trail South, there is free parking on both sides of the street. The staff are helpful, and the type of products is like you will never find at LD or ShDMart. Very unusual and fun store to visit. You should go just for the experience. I loved it and will definitely go back.
