I found the food here to be quite good. Although it looks quite run down. The noodles were fresh (did not stick to each other). You can order the raw beef to be separated to a small dish for you to place by yourself, which I found nice of them to allow you to do. This is because it allows you to place some taste in to it (lemon and other sauces) and separate the beef before placing it in.
I use to visit this place late at night. If you are in the area and looking for a inexpensive meal, then this is the place!

Everytime I am in toronto downtown for an overnight stay I go out of my way to visit this restaurant for breakfast. The staff are friendly and the only complaint I have is that the breakfast served is too big. Everything served is high quality, attentive staff, portions are a bit large but it is a bright airy atmosphere and good quality food which brings us back every time we stay over in toronto.

I absolutely love this place! Although the atmosphere of this restaurant is rather dark, gloomy, and sketchy, they have one of the best steaks and lobster in town.
Usually we order bbq ribs and potato fries for appetizers.
These appetizers are usually mediocre.
As for the entree we always order the rib eye steak as well as 2lb-4lb lobster.
The rib eye steak at House of chan is one of the best steaks I have ever had. The steak at House of Chan melts in your mouth as you eat it. This type of steak should only be eaten if you enjoy the natural taste of steak, and are expecting no additional added flavours.
The lobster is usually just as good as the steak. They offer you a rich butter as a dip. I really enjoy this dish as well.

Was always a home depot shopper due to its proximity to my house.one day i decided to go to lowes cz they had a good deal on bbq. The customer service was phenominal. My wife and I bought our first house back in December this year. At that time, our home inspector told us we probably should re-do the roof this year. Like any new homeowner, budgets in the first year are tight and we were really unsure what to do. After some astronomical quotes we really wondered if we could postpone things, even just one more year. It was at this point, we started working with Jason. He thoroughly inspected our roof and provided us with a very reasonable quote. He laid out all our options and painstakingly walked us through every single step in doing our roof. No matter how many calls I made asking questions, he was always willing to offer me his honest opinion and lay out options. They did an amazing job, and were in and out in one day. You can see the quality and pride in workmanship in the result! They also did a great job cleaning up the entire site afterwards (I joked with my wife our driveway and patio hadn't been that clean since we moved in). It was great to work with a family business that puts their name and personal reputation behind every job they do. The other thing that impressed me was how Jason, his foreman and his workers all repeatedly thanked me for my business (it's that little extra professionalism that really impresses).

Open 24hrs, so prices are a little higher than other pho places. Around $9 for a large, but you get your money's worth because the portions are HUGE! They've achieved the perfect noodle to soup ratio.
The soup is one of the best I've had and they do not skimp on the meat either! Fresh tender rare beef + brisket!
Atmosphere is a little dilapidated but so are most pho places, so it's expected.
I'd go here every week if only I lived closer.

I love beer and I love a long list of options recited to me by memory... there seem to be so many negative reviews about the Bier Markt but... it's a pub, really, and a spacious, respectable one with Great Beer at that. I was at the Esplanade location last Friday afternoon around 4pm with my husband and some friends and we had a fantastic time drinking pints of Steigl, Erdinger weissbrau, Jupiler, and sharing fondue--wish there was a ski hill nearby. I've been here often, mainly for the beer, but last Friday the atmosphere was great, really quiet and just right for a late lunch. I wish the decor was a little cozier inside.

The food was pretty good. The place is huge as it is which was kind of cool definitely did not see that coming. The atmosphere was really cool and had a fantastic time with my brother and sister (sister is from out of town). Will definitely be going back.

Fix It Again Sam used some creativity to diagnose and fix a shorting problem in my beloved 26 year old rechargeable B+D mower. There was a bit of a wait but they are small and busy and did it in the time frame they gave me. Nice folks too.
