I called 7 lumber yards to get a quote for a small project. Dunbar Lumbers price was 30% less then the next lowest one. Obviously I went with them. I did my order over the phone and e-mail and it was delivered to my door the next day. When it was discovered that an error had been made in my order they immediately accepted that, no hassle. The replacement pieces were delivered within an hour at no extra charge. Will I shop with them again? Duh. Probably won't even call around next time.

Amazing customer service, contractor or not. Rhonda was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, keeping me up to date with all the newest and best materials, and this saved money and time. Thanks Rhonda, and Dulux.

The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They will answer your questions and show you the product if you ask them. Large choice of products with good price ranges. They are my choice for a hardware store, an I recommend them!

Very friendly and helpful Has a huge selection gone there for fixes for my boat.motor home and house. Cant say enough for the staff. Looks small on the outside but lots of selection on inside.

Eric helped me order my exterior doors. He did a fantastic job at a great price. There was a minor error on one of the doors, you had to go outside to close the blinds in it. We had a good laugh about it and they fixed it the same day. Great service. I went back and purchased my interior doors with Tyler and had just as good of service and pricing. They are a must to check out for your next project.

I worked with Tammy in the window department. She was very patient with my and gave me many estimates as I explored all the windows I wanted as opposed to what was available. I would highly recommend her.
The only reason that I didnt give the 5th star was that the window frames are not deep enough to protrude out past the hardie board siding we had installed. With all my questions, I didnt know to ask about it and someone else actually placed the order and didnt ask about my siding depth.

I am a carpenter/contractor and I have been shopping at both GBS locations for years. Its rare to find a business of any kind whose employees are as friendly and helpful as the people at Gibson's Building Supply. I can usually get what I need, but if there is something that they don't have, they can usually order it for me and it will be there in just a few days. I'll give GBS 4 3/4 stars out of 5!
