Great meals. Food was all fresh and high quality. Eggs to order, breakfast meats tasty, coffee is good and ample. Not much atmosphere except for the working class people, mostly men before work or lunch break. Everyone seemed very at ease and unpretentious including the staff who were eager to please. People are very friendly, helpful and honest. My husband inadvertently dropped a $20 bill and two weeks later upon our return he had the money returned which he hadn't really missed. They have perfected the art of perfectly battered fish and fresh hand cut fries. You can't go wrong. Place is pretty basic, but you're not really there for atmosphere. I have been a huge fan of Tonys for years. Been going to the location on Dundas for ages and this place is so classic Italian its such a London landmark. The portions are huge and I always order the large panzerotti just so I can take some home, awesome the next day. The service is always friendly and some staff have been there for quite awhile which is nice to see. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants great Italian food. Lire plus

My SIL and 2 teenage kids ate here in the beginning of March 2015 and the food and service was great! I had Halibut, my SIL had clams and chips, 1 kid had chicken fingers and fries, and the other had a burger, onion rings, and deep-fried oreos. Mt hubby and I were here today April 27, 2015. Once again, the food was great. I had the haddock, and hubby had the cod. Same cook was working. Can't wait until we make it for the all-u-can-eat fish and chip Tuesdays.
