Mike the owner of Bella Notte has done a fabulous job on making such a quiant atmosphere. He has pictures on the walls of him and the generations before him and this is Italian history at its finest. I really enjoy supporting the local businesses in my neighbourhood and this one is very easy to become a regular at. The food is amazing and is a great substitute for downtown Toronto dining. Bella Notte provides fresh food with unique flavors, it has a great wine selection, and always friendly service. You will need to expect however that on the weekends especially, it will be veryyyyy busy and the service may be slower than usual (standard for any restaurant really), so my advice to you is to purchase a great bottle of wine and enjoy the night with your loved ones. This establishment really gives you the time to enjoy your meal, wine and conversation which is not something done at your run of the mill franchises. For a great dining experience and a taste of Italy, I highly recommend it! Lire plus

Great value good service and good portions. I often get the pasta package for one, minus the little dessert (way to full for it!!). Its only $15 gets you an entire meal w/ drink too. we always have left overs cuz like most we end up filling up on salad, soup and that yummy warm endless garlic bread! We usually get a side of parm to butter n dip the bread in yum! I often order the pasta with half spicy arabata sauce and half bolognese and add veggies to the dish. We weren't sure where to have dinner and decided to try this place. It was definitely worth it! When we walked in, we were greeted right away, in Italian and English, which I thought was a nice touch. There was a piano player in the foyer playing nice tunes, I liked that. The server came over right away, very courteous and kind. We were given bread with oil and vinegar to dip, it tasted delicious! Definitely authentically Italian! We then ordered fried calamari to start, definitely a good choice! Nice and crispy! Our pasta came soon after. It was cooked to perfection! The sauce was superb and the pasta's flavours all blended together nicely. I was thoroughly impressed with this restaurant and would definitely visit again. The only thing that wasn't too nice was the price, over $80 for two people, but it was well-worth it. Lire plus

We go here alot and service is the most consistant we have experienced anywhere. Very rarely is service slow and we have never experienced unfriendly or rude service. The only time the service is slow is when the restaurant is extremely busy but even then it is above 80% of other places. Absolutely loved the service from Erica. Very friendly and proffesional. Servers are always very pleasant here even when busy. Once our food came out cold but they took it back and fixed it for us no problem and the manager came over and asked us how things were.
