While Osteria is not designed to be particularly "child friendly," the staff went out of their way to keep our hungry toddler happy during a wait that took longer than anticipated (these things happen when you wander in on a Friday night without reservations). The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. If I lived in the neighborhood this is definitely a place where I could become a regular. And in the end, the food was well worth the wait. This was our first time at Swiss Chalet. The restaurant was quite busy for 4PM Sunday, but not packed. The atmosphere was very pleasant. The waitress seemed to be in a hurry. Looks like they were short staffed. She messed up our drinks and the cook never brought us the buns we were supposed to get with our meal. My tea cup had something dried up on it (looked like brown sugar), which I had to scrape off with my fingers :)))) I didn't bother asking to get a new one. The food was very tasty, although the dessert (sundae) was far too sweet . Overall a nice little lower-middle class restaurant with good atmosphere. The service could be better though. Lire plus
