Christien's restaurant was a very fun experience. The food and service were both better then expected for the volume of customers there on a friday night (may 25). We made reservation and got exactly what we asked for. Service was prompt and startes made it the table less then 15 minutes after ordering. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. I had a Grilled Sandwich with Bacon, Egg & Cheese with a Cream of Broccoli Soup. The sandwich was great and the soup was to die for - so creamy and made from scratch too! It was ready in minutes, so anyone could be in and out of there on their lunch break without a problem, even though the place was packed. I looked around and was very impressed by how clean and tidy this place was. All the staff, including the chef, was very friendly. The biggest surprise, was when I got to the till and saw how affordable it was! When you get great food, which is affordable, a spotless restaurant, friendly staff with good service, what else could you possibly want.......well, there was one thing - I don't prefer booths or stools, but it is part of the classic diner atmosphere and all the other benefits definitely outweigh this one very minor detail. The Morrissey House is a staple for good beer and good food in London - one of those places you can recommend to others with confidence. In the summer there is a nice, large patio where you can enjoy a good beer, cider or cocktail. The Morrissey has some good items on their menu, but some of my tried and true favourites are their burger and the mussels. Good selection of Ontario craft brew and a few macro-brewery standards. Service is friendly, but this is a pub with a loyal following and if you aren't a regular, you can feel a little like an outsider. Lire plus

Hubby and I always look forward to a trip to London so that we travel back to Woodstock thru Thamesford. We always enjoy lunch at Tokyo Joes. Just there today, had two specials, my husband the burger and fries, myself, a Caesar Chicken wrap and fries. The fries were fresh & hot, the burger was homemade and the Caesar wrap was one of the best I have ever had, complete with fresh cooked bacon. This location is great for both Fanshawe and Western students. Our group was made up of students from both campuses who are taking the MTP collaborative program at Fanshawe TV. The service was fast and friendly. The servers knew the menu well and could recommend their favourites. The atmosphere is typical roadhouse, with pub-style seating, as well as, tables/chairs and lots of sports decor. The roadhouse is a good size to accommodate large groups, yet you can still find small areas inside or, out on the patio. Food is very good, inexpensive and plentiful. Wings were popular with our group, although a little sloppy for some of us. Beverage prices are good and they seem to have specials on both food and drinks throughout the week. Overall a very comfortable, super friendly pub-which makes it a great place to meet up with friends or to just drop in. We would highly recommend this hangout-especially to students. Lire plus

My husband and I love to eat at Johnny's during the summer. My favorite is the steak!! Nicely done. And greek salad. It's hard to find a decent greek salad but Johnny's has a wonderful one! We stayed at the Comfort Inn in Simcoe last night and this was recommended as the best breakfast in town. It was a good breakfast but didn't live up to that recommendation. Coffee was very good; service was very quick. Very quick but our order was still served good. The waitress was very good about getting it heated up when we explained it was cold.
