Part way through the week long ENDURrun 160KM stage race this past summer I started battling back spasms along with the distance. The pain was impairing my breathing and freedom of motion. After each stage, and in the one off day, Dr. Colin worked on my back to ensure I was ready for the next race day. i not only completed my fastest ENDURrun but ended it with a personal best marathon time to finish the week. I continued with a few more weeks of treatment, with both Colin and Dr. Erika the naturopath, which put an end to the spasms and let me enjoy the rest of my ultra racing season pain free. Working at johnny's gives me a bias but i know that everyone who steps through the door intently has joined the family. It feels like a living room that has been around for years. Finally, a physiotherapist and clinic that didn't just stick me on a machine! There approach is unlike any I have experienced. They take the time to explain everything in ways I could understand! AND spent about an hour each session re-assessing and working on me. I have been on physiotherapy programs before where I needed to go twice a week for 6-7 weeks with no luck... Just love this place. I don't even know where to start. My 7 year old son loves them so much that he ask me to go every time we drive by. He loves to go even if it's for a filling he gets so excited and jumps for joy. I really believe that this is thanks to the great friendly staff. I also have older children and they also enjoy going.
