I came to this restaurant for my father's birthday and the food was incredible. It is an authetic portuguese restaurant on James street in Hamilton. For an appetizer we had the Bruchetta, which is baked pizza style bread topped with tomato, onion and garlic. Yumm! For the dish I ate the Filete com arroz, which is fish filete with seafood rice. The dish cost $17 but was really cheap considering the amount of food that was provided. I will definetely return to this restaurant and recommend anyone to try this place. They have a large menu with many options. If you havent tried portuguese food or just love the food, you wont be disappointed at the Wild Orchid. Lire plus

I enjoy many dishes from this place and I go all the time. I can't tell you how amazed at how delicious the food is here. Wow!!! It's a take out restaurant but it's just the best. So, so, so filling. And the price, I can't believe the prices. Anyways if you just want to chill and you're in the neighborhood of Bay and King Street West hit up Famous Recipe. I have lived in Welland for over 30 years and have never eaten here until they mentioned "Buffalo Chicken Burger" on their advertising sign out front. So we decided to stop in and try it, I must say, it is a great burger and possibly the best in the entire Niagara Region, it is reasonably priced with perfect golden fries but no one else makes a Buffalo Chicken Burger like Cheers does. Green Acres is a family tradition for the last ten years. Each Good Friday and a handful of times throughout the year we travel from Niagara Falls, Ontario to Fort Erie for the sole purpose of eating their fish and chips. The service is always fantastic and the food reasonably priced and excellent. We'll be visiting again this Good Friday and my stomach is already grumbling. There aren't many places in the area where one can get fish & chips, unless they drive to Barrie and go to Fancies Fish & Chips. Blue Water Fish & Chips is a small restaurant with a tired decor. Mind you there are historical photos of boats that have travelled Georgian Bay & the Great Lakes and are interesting to look at.. We love the halibut served here. While the portion size is small it is extremely tasty, with mild tasting halibut and a golden batter. After the second or third bite you can taste & feel the grease but isn't that to be expected with deep fried fish? I've never eaten fish & chips that I haven't tasted the grease. We hate it when the restaurant is closed for vacation. We love eating here and they even have lots of newspapers and reading material for those of us that prefer to read while we're eating. All we've ever ordered has been the fish & small chips or else we'll order 2 fish and a small chip each and we never go away hungry. Lire plus
