“In Yaletown especially, there seems to be one or two dogs in every household,” says Terry, owner of Pets Beautiful. “And these people don’t want to leave their dog alone all day.”

One solution is to send their beloved pets to Pets Beautiful, which can be a welcome break in a pet’s day – the equivalent of a spa day for their human owners. Terry strives to replicate that relaxing, rejuvenating atmosphere while grooming pets.

“Grooming should make them happy,” says Terry, “and a happy pet makes a happy owner.” With that thought in mind, Terry knows that she’s brightening her customers’ days by grooming their pets, and nothing is more satisfying to her.

“I love happy customers,” she says. “They’re definitely a highlight.”
