This is a radical place, Dale is like a bible of knowledge about everything from A to Z and also has some amazing Veteran stories of his travels around the world. Kept me entertained and interested all day while he showed me how to fix my front end. I saved hundreds of dollars, and that's no lie

9 o'clock at nigh...

9 o'clock at night , at the side of the # 11highway , wheel has come loose and sending us all over the road , barely on the car. Called the diy garage number and this guy Dale answers the phone ... Asks where we are and in 15minutes poof like a magician he is there looking at it , tells me the wheel bearing is loose and it shouldn't be driven but if you want he says, you can drive on the back road to my garage and I'll follow you. Put your wife and kids and my truck and then I'll drive you home , we can try and make it or we can get a tow whatever you want. He tightens the wheel bolts and going 50-60 I make it to his garage. It's now 1030 or so. He drives us home , calls at 7am says that both wheel bearings need to be replaced. Quoted 6-700 dollars with parts and labour. I have payed 700 for one side on more than one occasion. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs a trustworthy honest mechanic who treats you and your family like they are his own. Barrie do it yourself garage is the best garage in Barrie and the service is Phenomenal. I would never go anywhere else as long as we live in this area .
