Charitable effort...sort of.

Visited for a charity-based event on a weekday evening recently. I'm glad that BP supports these kinds of initiatives and helps younger people learn about their community and about serving others. However, more than one food order in our party was not done correctly and had to be sent back. Service was adequate but not stellar. On a positive note, there was a section of the menu dedicated to healthier options, which two of our party really appreciate. The full menu is also available online with nutritional info (though the navigation of that part is difficult). Boston Pizza is the first restaurant I've been to in Canada that actually posted its fat content and one other detail (sodium?) right on the printed menu, which I believe all restaurants should do. That being said, the fat and sodium content of many of BP's 'regular' dishes is shockingly high and should be re-evaluated by head office. Overall, it was a first visit, not stellar, and I am likely to spend my money elsewhere

I went there for take-out only, so my review is...

I went there for take-out only, so my review is based on the take-out only. I went into their designated take-out area and it took about 20 minutes before anyone took our order. Some workers even came and pressed button on the register, but didn't pay attention to us. When we finally did order, it took around another 20 minutes and the food was...ok. We barely got any fries with our meal and it was haphazardly put together in the containers and the bag. We pretty much bagged it ourselves.

Last visit here

We use BP in Brockville Belleville and Kingston(for the last time) Been several times to them all. Brockville and Belleville could teach Kingston a thing or two. The food was generally cold and I had to return my Chilli twice before it was hot enough. My friend had to send his back once. I ordered a desset...Apple Crisp to be heated with Ice cream on top. Hmmm when it Came it was frozen(literally) in the the middle. I sent it back and declined to have it back. Our waitress was terrific and none of this was her fault I believe she was actually embarassed. THE FAULT LIES IN THE KITCHEN. MAYBE A LITTLE TRAINING WOULD HELP. We will not be back to find out. There are many restaurants in Kingston.

We got seated really quickly. When we ordered our drinks we were told there were no glasses but as soon as there were cleaned then we would get our drinks. We had to wait 10 - 15 minutes. Food was good, hot and served quickly. Was a busy night but still got served fast.
