Amazing service! Best shop in Owen Sound hands down.

Service is always exceptional at this shop. The person leaving the “one star” rating is a moron. First of all, who’s getting things repaired for five dollars in 2019? Second of all, there’s a very clear sign on the counter @Dr.Cobblers that reads “minimum charge is $9” I’ve personally had smaller things looked after here that he didn’t even charge me for because he was simply being kind. As I shared previously, service & product at this shop are always exceptional!!! A+++

My intention for my visit was dropping off my sandal for repair. I asked for the cost and was informed $5.00.When I came to pick it up, I was informed it was $13.00. Ron picked up my sandal and walked back towards the area where he repairs are completed, what he did was malicious. He dropped the sandal back on the counter and said “Here”. He cut off and removed the elastic that he had sewn on the sandal thereby nullifying the repair. I do like to buy locally whenever possible. But not here.

I am extremely impressed with Dr. Cobbler. After losing both heels on my favourite leather boots, I thought they were done. But I brought them here, he took a look and said it'd be tricky because they were worn down but he'd fix them for $22 and have them ready in a week. 3 business days later he gave me a call that they were ready, and the price tax in was <$20! And he even cleaned and shined them up for me as a bonus! The craftmanship was excellent and my favourite old boots look brand new! If you want quick, courteous, considerate and reasonably priced shoe repair in Owen Sound this is the place to go!
