This is the Mandarin we always go to in our home town. The staff is always friendly, cleanliness of the restaurant is always excellent, and the food and desserts are always bountiful and fresh! I haven't had Chinese Food in a long time because I couldn't find a really good restaurant that pleased me all around. But this one had all the excellence I was looking for in a family restaurant. It would have been nicer to see some cooler air conditioning especially for those extremely hot days here in Windsor. Edit: This restaurant is under new ownerships and is quite different (new name). This is the best chinese food I have tried in the Windsor area. As a university student I have been to quite a few of the well regarded chinese restaurants downtown. Several of these restaurants have excellent dishes but overall they do not quite compare. Every dish I have tried at Emperor's Garden is outstanding whereas every other restaurant has had an item or two that let me down. My extended family often orders out from Emperor's Garden when relatives come in from out of town. On every occasion the relatives from out of town comment on how excellent the food is. They have, on multiple occasions, stated that if they lived near this restaurant they would go there too often. Prices are towards or below the lower end of $11-$25 per person. The restaurant is very clean and well maintained both externally and internally. I honestly believe it is the best restaurant in Tecumseh. Lire plus

Ive been coming here since i moved a couple minutes down the street almost 10 years ago and i have yet to be disappointed! Serving sizes are huge, and are all under 10 dollars. All the food i have tried has been amazing and i highly recommend the sesame chicken and mostly the shanghai noodles. Mei Ling has been around since we moved to Aurora 26 years ago and the food is always consistent (Great) their Chilli Squid is one of their specialty and it is to die for. Mei Ling is our only choice my family loves it. The people who own it are wonderful too always polite curtious and always making sure that their customers are happy. Let me start off by first saying the portions are generous and the food is delicious (especially the general tao chicken which is the perfect amount of spicy and sweet). The service was great and made sure we were enjoying our meal. As a resident of Aurora, I (like the previous reviewer) used to need to go south to either Richmond Hill or Markham before I get a taste of authentic Chinese food but now that I have discovered a local gem I am highly impressed.
