The Empress Hotel is the icon of Victoria. For that extra special getaway I would recommend a night at this iconic property, a horse drawn carriage tour and afternoon tea. You can't get more Victorian than that! But seriously, this is a beautiful property (the rooms are a little small) but the history, design & atmosphere make up for the lack of size. Ask about the haunted stories!

The site is well preserved and house keeper Jan & her husband welcomed us in the best way possible. We recieved a free poster as a souvenir gift on top of the free visit:)
It was nothing but a pleasure seeing Emilys work so closely.

Great service from Dave and his Team , very trustworthy, friendly not pushy like other shops .. , communicates very well regarding my body work repairs. I’ve had all my vehicles including Lincoln Navs, , Mustangs , and all my Porsche body work done with Belmont. Will continue with future vehicles . I wish i could try more menu items but im eating only plant based at this time so i am only reviewing for that part. This pizza is fantastic, the dough is probably the best i had in canada so far. The vegan cheeses and even the beyond sausage is better than anywhere else. I used to eat a lot of donairs so i dont know if i will be able to resist eating one forever.Also i live in victoria downtown and the fact that they deliver both with their own delivery and through skip is fantastic.

I have to say, when I find I have Sunny as my checkout clerk I smile. He's a great guy with a (sunny) disposition. His line is always the longest and he get's his job done expertly and in good time. Shopping is not my favorite thing to do so it's nice to deal with a pleasant staff member.

I had the pleasure today of talking with Christine in the pilates studio. I was in for physiotherapy treatment and happened to overhear another client talking about doing pilates there. I was directed to the upstairs studio and was impressed with the decor and cleanliness of the studio. I got a tour, and had the machines and rooms explained to me right then and there. Thank you for all the great info!

I’ve been a member at Victoria Athletic Club for a while now, and I have to say, it’s an amazing place to work out! The facilities are top-notch, with everything from state-of-the-art equipment to clean, spacious locker rooms. It’s clear they take pride in maintaining the place.
A special shoutout to Purav at the front desk – he’s always so friendly and welcoming! Every time I walk in, he greets me with a smile and is more than happy to answer any questions or help with anything I need.

It has been wonderful to have such reliable transportation, and gives me so much freedom to 'walk' almost everywhere. Having had polio at a young age, my Travel Scooter is a great way to be mobile.
