As a Nova Scotianer, and someone who went to chef school, I have to say that Duffy's makes the best (haddock) fish and chips in the area if you don't feel like traveling to Sauble Beach. I know fish and chips. Grew up on the stuff. My uncles were all fishermen and their sons still are. Duffy's is REALL good. The wine spritzer was also excellent. The service was perfect. Lire plus

Went there last Tuesday with my sisters for a Birthday lunch. 3 had fish and chips, the best this side of the Atlantic as they claim, and The Fraser's are right, they are. One had liver and onions which are to die for. I had t he open face homemade 8 oz. burger with hand cut homemade fries. Ya gotta wait 20 minutes because it is indeed homemade but it is well worth it. Went there for lunch today ,Tuesday Sept 11th ,on entering the restaurant immediately noticed how exceptionally clean and tidy it was ,at the time it was easy to get a table as it had just gone 12 in an hour people were waiting for a table it was busy .we had the buffet it was one of the best Ive had in ages food was hot and plentiful and delicious from the first bite to the last .it is worth the drive from Owen sound Lire plus
