I have lived in Kingston for a few years and NOTHING compares to their BUTTER CHICKEN!!
It is incredible, and NEVER disappoints - I’ve tried several restaurants in Kingston and I will still drive to Belleville just for their Butter Chicken because it truly is worth it!!
The potions are huge, the staff are amazing and it is beyond delicious!

I love the general atmosphere of this place which is charming and delightful. Its in a beautiful heritage house that transports you back to another time.
The service is quite good too.
They offer a wide ranging menu. I haven't had the pizza the guy makes there in years but it was probably my favourite thing.

We frequent this little piece of culture in downtown Belleville as often as we can. The lunch menu is incredible. Where else can you get delicious sandwich/quiche/salad with soup for $10? The bread is organic and baked fresh on the premises. The service is friendly and when you ask about the food they can always tell you what you want to know. The atmosphere is lovely and when the kitchen is open like it is there is nothing to hide. The bistro is impeccably clean and it is obvious that the chef/owner takes great pride in his business. We have eaten every sandwich, quiche, and meat pie on the menu as well as every soup and salad. We are never disappointed. For dinner you have to try the chef's table that takes place twice per month. An opportunity to sit with 12 other people to enjoy the surprise chef's choice menu of starter, main, and dessert. Incredible. If you haven't gone to L'Auberge de France then make a point of going. And don't miss the fresh croissants on Saturday mornings.

Omg this place is an absolute Gem!
My husband , myself and my mother inlaw were on our way from New Brunswick to Ontario. During a snow storm ( March 4th 2023) the owner G was amazing! The breakfast was the best I've ever had. The coffee is so so good! The customer service and hospitality we received here will be something we all talk and rave about forever! Even the customers were delightful! We left full and happy! Even got some homemade banana bread for the ride with a top up to our coffee.

This is my go to place for fish and chips. The chips are made from scratch and fried to perfection. The halibut is battered perfectly - not too thick, not too thin. Even the coleslaw is fresh tasting and flavourful. The prices are very reasonable and worth every penny.

FINALLY are restaurant in Belleville that knows food, service and ambiance. I received a gift ceritificate to this restaurant as a welcome to Belleville present and it was BY FAR the best thing given to me since my family and I relocated here. We had the best experience from entry to exit. The staff is so warm, welcoming and accommodating to our every need. They have an extensive wine selection (no other restaurant in town compares...trust me I've been to every one) I can't say enough good things about our experience here. Ate in restaurant first time. Food was amazing. Service was great, except it was very hard to hear the server due to dining area was extremely loud. Could not carry on a conversation with my boyfriend because of the 8 people next to us.
We will be returning though. Looking forward to enjoying some more of your amazing food.

Had the one piece halibut and chips and the food was good, asked for side of coleslaw and an iced tea. A little shocked at getting a bill for 20.91. I think this is a bit pricey for not even getting a beer with it. Coleslaw $3, iced tea $3.30. Overpriced. Won't return.
