We go to the Barley Works on Friday or Saturday nights after nine pm to play trivia. We have samples seveal of their menu offerings and really enjoy the perogies and spinach salad. April is a great bartender and we are never left waiting or wondering if we are being taken care of. Worth the drive to Waterloo if you like a place to sit and play a bit of interactive trivia. My husband and I went for the dinner buffet tonight. The selection isn't huge but the quality was great. The only thing we steered clear of were the cooked veggies which looked like frozen. Salad bar was great (can't beat their potato salad!) and the hot food was home cooked and very tasty. At $18.99 a person we thought it very good value especially as the delicious desserts were included. We left very full and happy and we will return! Lire plus
