I can't say enough good things about Fishbone Bistro. Warm ambiance, comfortable seating, and the service made us feel like we were the only table in the room (although the restaurant was fairly full). We had a flaming sausage to start - delicious. The specials were incredible. I ordered a dish that I can't remember the name of, but it was similar to a light seafood stew in an herb broth. Delicious, perfectly cooked food and the flavour was out of this world. Highly recommended! My husband had the whole sea bass. The owner, Pedro, deboned the fish at the table and explained some things about Portuguese cuisine. My son had the steak, and the presentation was like nothing I had seen before! I've been telling everyone I know to check this place out. We didn't have time to try dessert (an excuse to go back)! Hearty portions, excellent wine, beautiful decor.... you have to try it! What a great night! I havent visited this pub in a while but Im glad I did again. Enjoyed a nice dinner with friends with great service and a fun atmosphere. I recognized the same staff from years ago when I last came by and happy to see theyre still there enjoying themselves. All were super helpful and knowledgeable about menu items/drinks. My gf has some food allergies, and they were able to tell us what she should not have etc as well gave us a gluten free menu. Im a big foodie lover (hence the name) and will definitely be back for the food. It was better then most pub fare Ive had. Thanks Filly and Firkin, see you soon Lire plus

My girlfriend and I went up to tobermory ontario a few weeks ago. I have never had such amazing customer service in my entire life. Our server was super kind, funny and made lots of jokes to keep us entertained through our meal. Been coming here for years. I dont know who wrote that last review but they must have a screw loose. What would you expect if you tried to get a table for 7 people on a saturday nite without a reservation when the place is lined up. We had a great time, the food was good and the service was adequate considering how busy the place was. The lineup indicated they are doing something right. Decent for a pub. Service isn't the best but the BLT chicken wrap that i always order never disappoints. The greek salad is also great. I would not reccommend sitting inside, the patio is the place to be. I go for lunch at the arms at least once a week, I'll continue to as long as the BLT wrap remains delicious! Lire plus
