After living in Black Diamond or Turner Valley for four years we finally made our way to the Black Diamond Bar. And were pleasantly surprised by our experience. While we knew it was a good place to grab dinner and a couple drinks, the atmosphere and food were even better than we anticipated. I don't know why it took us four years to stop in, but it'll certainly be less than four years before our next visit!

They have excellent meats, comparable in cost to big box stores in Calgary.
Produce is fresh and fruit from BC available outside all summer.
They sell local and organic foods, and surprisingly offer some specialty items.
It's become my main grocery store so I don't shop often in bigger cities.

Staff have been helpful and prompt making sure we got a po box the same day I stopped in to ask for one and they have always made sure mislabeled mail got delivered and held the packages for us. As a resident of black diamond I have never had any issues.

Blast from the past diner. We went with another family on a long weekend. Great drive to Black Diamond and then we had an original chocolate shake and a peanut butter burger... yes it was good. Another person in our group got the Elvis burger, which we found included the owner coming out with his guitar and singing an Elvis song. Great fun!
