Its a must to visit. The new owner provides very good food with variety of authentic Vietnamese dishes including gluten free and vegetarian choices. Bonus point is the restaurant has been renovated with the modern, cozy atmosphere and very great service. I love the paintings there, very fancy! Bravo to the new management team.

I have eaten in most restaurants downtown, and one day decided to try Abruzzo.
First impression was that is it a little too old style - decor was quite old fashioned. But over all nice and quiet. The food though makes up for short coming in the decor department.
I can't say that they were as good as home made italian food, but came pretty darn close. Overall I would highly recommend this place.

THE FOOD IS EXCELLENT, GOOD SIZE PORTIONS AND REASONABLY PRICED. SERVICE IS PROMPT AND COURTEOUS AND I WOULD RECOMMEND ANYONE WHO ENJOYS QUALITY CHINESE FOOD TO GIVE IT A TRY. THE LUNCH SPECIALS ARE A GREAT DEAL AS WELL !

Our go to joint when looking for delivery. The thin crust is perfect, sauce has the right balance of flavour and heat and the toppings are not soggy when it arrives. Price is reasonable and delivery time is a very acceptable 30-40 mins.

I have found this location to be the best in Calgary. I don't eat out often but now having tried other locations I will drive quit a distace to use this location, it's that good. Ths folks there are always friendly and the place is always very clean. I highly recomend it.

We went to Catch for our anniversary and sat in the Oyster Bar because we wanted a more casual and lively atmosphere. And lively it was! By 7:30pm the places was lively with patrons. Being in an Oyster Bar, we ordered some oysters and they were ok--a little briney but the vodka martinis made it easier to eat. We also shared some mussels that were amazing.The ling cod fish and chips and snapper special was delicious and fresh! Great for our anniversary dinner and any night out with friends!

I dont know about you but when I order my sub I'd like the person making it to show that they know they are making your food and not throwing things on bread because they have to. Maruju is one of my favourite Japanese restaurants in the city. Fresh, honest Japanese food without too much gimmick and very reasonable pricing. Their lunch specials are a great value and the ramen is also great if you're in the mood for something other than sushi or sashimi.

Servicing the business sector of downtown Calgary, West Restaurant is a great place to have lunch with colleagues or clients. The atmosphere is very modern and populated with business clientele, the service is quick, the pricing is reasonable, and the food is delicious.
The only challenge I had was that I didn't make a reservation for lunch, and at 11:30 it was very busy and our table of 3 just about did not get in. There isn't any signage in ScotiaBank (as of posting May 21, 2010) as to where to go, at least I couldn't see it, so you have to make your way to the 2nd floor to enter the restaurant.
Overall, I would visit West restaurant again.
